Although we didn't stay at Lync-Haven, the accommodation looked good, from camping to self-contained units. We called in for lunch one day, and it quickly became our favourite place to eat during our rainforest stay. Justin, the owner, has some native animals, and the snakes are often put out near the dining area on a stand. They are a great...

We stayed here for a brief 2 night stay. Having never been to the Daintree before we were initially taken aback because we had no phone service and no internet, and the Wi-Fi was down. But once we got used to the pace of life in the Daintree we got to appreciate it's beauty. Lynch haven is fantastic for young...

Have been going here for 8 years. The new owners, Justin and Christie and their family, are great. The food is excellent value for money (especially compared with other local establishments). The ambience is great, check out the pythons, and especially check out Baron the Cockatoo

We called into the Lync-Haven for lunch on our way back from the Daintree. A busy place with loads of seating. We had a yummy chicken burger sitting around the pet birds and snakes (I hate snakes, but it was okay, funny to watch other diners taking photos thinking they were fake). Enjoyable lunch and atmosphere.

Stayed last night and thoroughly recommend this place. Our cabin was clean and very comfortable within meters of the Rainforest. Swamp wallabies and Agile wallabies outside our cabin, and birds, pythons and crocs, all donated because of injury so unable to be released back into the Wild make up an interesting collection of wildlife at Lync Haven. The restaurant menu...

Long wait times for food. The lady owner / cook became confrontational and rude when there was a mix up over our order. We will NEVER visit this establishment again! It's on a downward spiral since changing ownership.

Camped here on a very very wet day. Owner did all he could to help us find a gravelly spot to park on. He also recommended the Coral trout which I nearly didn't order as I don't like "trout". This is nothing like European trout. it was grilled with herbs served with a great salad and one of the best...

Stopped in at Lync-Haven today for lunch as part of our visit to the Daintree. Without overstating it at all this was the very best meal we've had in Australia during our two weeks here. The food was exceptionally fresh, beautifully presented, absolutely delicious and plentiful enough to satisfy two teenage sons. The setting included wallabies, cockatoos, and snakes to...

We spend 2 days in the middle of the rainforest surrounded by wild animals like cassowaries, opossums and snakes. There are a few walking trails in the jungle that are very nice and a wallabies nursery where the kids where able to feed them. The owners are very nice and the restaurant is very good as well

We found Lync haven to be a lovely place, with great food and friendly staff. Being school holidays, it was slightly busier, but this didn't deter from the quietness of the place. The rooms weren't the cheapest and could do with some modernisation. The cafe area was fabulous and we ate two dinners there as well as a couple breakfasts....
