What a hidden gem of the tropical north. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Pristine, clear blue creek with swimming holes running through old growth rainforest . The "On the Turps" restaurant was amazing. The meals were sublime and the location. .....wow! Open air dining overlooking the beautiful creek. Bandicoots, Musky Rat Kangaroos a nature lovers paradise. Clean...

Stayed in this beautiful part of the world for a wedding. Cannot think of a better spot to get married. The owners and staff were amazing and went out of their way to ensure everyone felt welcome. The setting is magical in the rainforest . I give five stars for the most memorable wedding ever !

Went to a friend's wedding at Heritage Lodge & Spa. Don't think I've ever seen a more perfect spot for a wedding ceremony - late afternoon by a stream, framed by stunning rainforest. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The lodge is situated well away from the main road which adds the overall experience of being...

Even the friendly staff and the perfect surrounding cannot make up for the antiquated lodge. Spa is under renovation (?) and closed, restaurant overwhelmed when many people, food average, rooms ok for purpose. Seems that the overall concept needs an overhaul.

Hi. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your experience here at Heritage Lodge. Unfortunately without communication we were unable to make your experience more enjoyable. We are a little on the antiquated side you could say and the majority of guests are more than happy with being somewhere that is not like all the big flashy hotels in...

Heritage lodge and spa is located in the rainforest on Cooper Creek, one of the oldest parts of the Daintree. The Lodge is very comfortable: our room was large and clean. The bathroom was a bit tired but fully functional. Daily servicing was very helpful because nothing dries in the rainforest so be aware. The common area has been upgraded...

From start to finish heritage lodge is a fantastic accommodation. My parents and I loved the dinner, the customer service, the room, and the outdoor environment. Of all the places we stayed in 3 weeks. This was our favorite. Can't wait to come back.

We visited here with our 3 children aged 6,7 and 9 for two nights. We loved the private swimming holes in cooper creek that we could swim in. Even more special that the restaurant overlooks one of the swimming holes and you can see the turtles and fish swimming below. We had dinner here for both evenings which was very...

We spent two nights at Heritage having visited some 20 years previously. Rooms and the public areas have been nicely maintained / renovated since then - the outdoor dining area is particularly nice and the quality of food was excellent. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. We travelled with two teenagers. Things that you might want at other resorts -...

Quite special. No wifi but do you really need it? Clean and tidy cabin. Good sized bathroom. Sounds of the rain forest birds, crawling bugs and critters around you to remind you that you're quite insignificant. Swimming in the clear fresh water swimming holes before dinner. Viewing baby turtles and swarms of fish. Dinner in the open air restaurant allows...
