Salty Crax staff were very friendly and helpful with good local knowledge. Casual hostel with large kitchen where you can cook your own dinner. Donatello the tortoise was also very cool as he walked around the back yard.

I stayed here as part of a package for 2 +1 nights. I stayed in the dorm, I found it slightly cramped, but could've been worse and at least there were 2 bathrooms! The kitchen was ok and free tea & coffee was nice. Quite often there wasn't a dry tea cloth though to dry up your plates. I had...

This was the first time I stayed in a hostel and it was great. The staff were really nice, the braii was delicious and the bar was good. I did a Saltycrax tour and one of the days we were woken up an hour earlier than scheduled and forced to leave immediately because we "had to start early" and I...

Clean rooms with a shower, Nice staff, a fire place and close to the beaches. We did however woke up two times in the private room because of people having breakfast early the morning at the picknick table... But hey, we were on a holiday so who cares after seeing the sunset from the balcony at the News café nearby.......

The sheets could have seriously been thrown out and new ones could have been bought. For the sheets were truly Discusting. But the location is great and the staff is friendly. So my stay would have been a whole lot better if the place was more clean.

Staying at Saltycrax is a blast! The staff is accommodating, the people are great and the atmosphere and vibe is chill and laid back. The only drawback i have was that we didn't get informed right away when the shark cage diving we booked with them got cancelled, and we got to hear it first from another guest at the...

clean, friendly establishment -but the mens bathroom in dorm is too small for 10 people. No window for fresh air leaves it smelling "mouldy" - the ladies bathroom is a bit bigger and cleaner. Beds are comfortable and was generally an enjoyable stay

Super unique place with a great vibe. You'll meet amazing people here from volunteers to backpackers passing by. If you're not going to Saltycrax as a part of the volunteer program, I would definitely ask someone about it. It's absolutely incredible. If you're looking for a 1bd/1ba ensuite, request the room "Chris"
