Not very well thought out. Our bed was placed below a picture exactly where the bed-head should be, not very comfortable to say the least. There was only 1 toilet roll in our room for 4 people staying for two nights and we had to ask for more - poor. There is no air conditioning which would be fine if...

Stayed here as a stop off for one evening to break the journey, for the price we paid (£39) you really could not ask for anything more, room was clean, towels were clean, staff were friendly, had plenty of tea and coffee. We followed sat nav and it took us off at junction 15 but going a little further up...

This hotel is extremely BASIC! The location is extremely difficult to find without your own private transport and as I was travelling from Scotland for work, this was my only option. On the drive up from Crewe Train Station (because the train was cancelled to Kidsgrove, the nearest train station) the taxi driver was consistently looking down onto his lap...

It's been three years since we vowed never to stay at a Travelodge again after a bad experience at the Travelodge near Glasgow airport. After reading about the refurbs that are going on with the hotels in the group we thought we'd give it another go and had a nice surprise. It wasn't at all bad.. Clearly the refurb process...

Cheap and cheerful. The hotel is undergoing renovation. So if you want a long lie, don't expect it to last past 9am. The builders were singing and banging their way through the floor. You would think they would keep guests at the other end, but no. Beware of coming in past 10pm at night also. You need to buzz for...

Very close to the M6 and A34/A500 so very convenient for Stoke/Newcastle. Amazingly quiet in the room, I was expecting road noise as the A34/A500 are very busy but there was none. Pleasant, simply furnished room, looked and smelled clean.

Reading through some of the other reviews left for this Travelodge I was wondering if we had made a mistake booking a room here , but I was pleasantly surprised to be honest . The receptionist wasn't the most friendly but she was OK after all we only needed our room key from here I did wonder if the reviews...

This is our second stay here within the year, can not fault the place. You get a pleasant and friendly welcome. The rooms are bright, clean and very roomy. Double beds very comfortable unfortunately the children's beds were a little uncomfortable. We use it as a base for Alton towers and will definatly return.

I have been at Talke Travelodge 3 times this year and its just had its refit. Well a bunch of blindfolded painters have been brought in to attempt to paint. I am currently in room 29 and there is dried paint on the mirror. Mirror frame. TV. Wardrobe unit and the cutting in is pathetic. The corridors are painted badly...
