We've stayed here once before and they've clearly had some renovations - much brighter and less run down looking. The staff were really very friendly - I'd say exceptional for a travelodge. The room was clean and there was adequate parking (though it was fairly...More
From a very happy member of staff to a fantastically quick check in. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are a good size for 2 adults and two children there was a king size bed and two single beds with enough to seperate them...More
Excellent stay here. Reception staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. We had a family room and it was spacious and very clean. Bed was a wee bit too hard for me but that's personal choice. Very handy having Little Chef and Subway just...More

Very outdated needs renovation
Beds are very hard and uncomfortable but for the price what can you expect.
Located near nothing apart from little chef and subway which is not ideal but it's bang on a main road so what can you expect.

It's a straight run over the roundabout for 10min drive to the centre, you pass many takeaway restaurants on the way and two very good ones. Buffet island is a Chinese buffet with tonnes to choose from and a massive selection of deserts from candy floss to chocolate fountain. You also have Taybarns sat next to the premier inn that is also a buffet ( look at the website ) they have so much to choose from ( all help yourself) both restaurants sell alcohol.
Hope this helps
