We booked 2 nights at the Lathkil hotel over the May day bank holiday, we enjoyed a relaxing 2 days with plenty of places to walk on your doorstep and beautiful views to wake up to. We stayed in room 2, which was very clean, nice decor, good space and a very clean & new ensuite. Our window looked out...

Friendly helpful staff welcomed us at reception. Comfortable room . We were in one of 4 rooms - two over looked the vale and two were in the back. All rooms were newly fitted with lovely shower/bath. Good breakfast and supper.

I stayed here with a group of friends on a mountain biking trip. The owners even let us keep our bikes in the stables. Brilliant hosts... and very happy guests. Beautiful pub beers too...highly recommended. Andy.

very small room, very clean with excellent view across the dales, Brilliantly cooked and prepared food, young staff pleased to help at all times, owner not verbal enough with guests, She showed no acknowledgement to any guests. Brilliant stay without a welcome, its in the middle of nowhere.

The room was clean and modern with mod cons such as a hairdryer and mini fridge. The en-suite was clean, the shower was nice and warm and powerful. The...

Had the good fortune to land here after escaping a very busy Bakewell. Consumed an excellent buffet style lunch with some fine cask beer. Remarkable autumn views over Lathkill dale. Pleasant staff always a plus.

We broke up a long walk in Lathkill Dale with a visit to this Hotel for lunch. It is quite a climb from the river to the village of Over Haddon, but the view from the Hotel is stunning. The food was good value and the range of options was sufficient. Good choice of real ales and cocktails. Definitely will...
