If you are looking for a weekend away that is off the beaten track, with a town only a few miles away, the Crossways is ideal. We spent a comfortable few nights at the Crossways. It is a little off the beaten track, but worth the detour. The bedrooms are of varying sizes; ours being one of the smaller rooms,...

The hotel with its main lounge and bar area also provides a large separate facility that specifically caters for sizeable group wedding/celebration etc parties. Upon arrival Sarah greeted us with great...

We chose The Crossways for a weekend break because of its location being near the RSPB Ham Wall reserve, Wells and Glastonbury . The Crossways is set in a lovely countryside and it was so refreshing to open the curtains in the morning and have a view of green fields. Our room was spacious and very good value for money....

Our grand daughter is having her wedding reception at the Crossways later in the year. We were passing close by so decided to go in to have a look and have lunch. It is years since we have been there and it has changed a lot from what we remember it. It is very tidy and modern. We both had...

Arrived on Sunday and was able to enjoy Sunday carvery lunch which was lovely. Breakfast was also nice, well cooked and tasty. Evening bar meal was not so good, seems the chicken burger had herbs in, which wasn't on the menu and did not taste very good. The gammon was good though. Service by the staff, throughout our stay, was...

We stayed here for just the one night and wished it had been more, the bedroom was nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed, a nice bathroom with a large modern shower. a varied selection of tea's plus hot chocolate and very tasty ground Colombian coffee added the finishing touch. We were also treated to a choice of cereals and...

Crossways probably the best Sunday Roast in Somerset. Choice of different meat and veg and fabulous gravy. I Usually end up eating more than I should, 😆😆😆. Very reasonable price and tasty puddings as well. Yum yum, can't wait till next visit.

Would have scored zero if i could have. As many have said before, rude, unprofessional and condescending general manager only interested in ripping off its guests. Staff and management ill-informed to say the least. Steer clear at all costs. Booked through booking.com, wish I'd checked tripadvisor beforehand, shall do in future. Don't expect an intelligent or apologetic response as no...
