We cannot comment on the hotel or other accommodation as we were camping. The site is, however, about the best we have ever visited in 50 years of tenting in Europe. El Patron Lorenco started creating this site and its landscape in the 1980's, and he has created an unequalled environment for both camping and chalet visitors. He keeps an eagle eye on his eerie day in, day out and and his family and staff work constantly to keep it clean and fresh, from the manicured lawns surrounding the pools to the impeccably clean sanitary facilities. Bar and cafe drinks and food are excellent, and above all the location in one of Spain's lesser known parts - the autonomous region of Arragon, from where England's Queen Catherine hailed - besides the azure blue Lake Barasona and the stunning backdrop of the Pyrenees provides unequalled opportunites for touring its historic towns and villages, the amazing world geological park and rafting down its rivers through dramatic canyons. Or just chilling out by the pools while the kids are entertained day long through July and August by the professionally run Kids Club. A down side for us was, in a near four-week stay, the constant dawn to night yapping, snapping, yowling and barking of dogs, not all of whom were kept on leads as demanded by the camp rules. Had this been less of a nuisance, we would unhesitatingly give Lago Barasona and El Supremo Lorenco five stars plus!

Great friendly campsite few minutes walk to Lake through tunnel. Clean facilities & good food at resultant. Just one issue when checking in we were in a queue and asked to go to look at plot first which we were told was the best on offer of what they had available & by the time we went to look at plot (few minutes) got back in the queue to say we’d like it, it had been given to someone else. On reflection we wished we’d just accepted it, but was encouraged to check it out first & just assumed it would be held until we got back so a bit frustrating! Wouldn’t put me off going there again just wish they had also mentioned you might lose the plot while you look.

One of the best sites we visited on a 6week trip. The lake was empty but that wasn’t the fault of the site! Difficult to fault otherwise. The pitches were flat and well screened, there were 2 toilet areas both of which were excellent and the restaurant was good value with good service. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained.

We have been there for the 3rd time now. In 2018, 2019 and 2021. On the plus side, they really improved the entertainment for small children, although only spanish oriented. The reception is friendly and really helpful. The bungalows are very clean. As requested , three times the same bungalow. I have to be hounest, and it seems that the overall experience is worse than the previous times we visited. For example, many mistakes are being made by the staff and cook of the restaurant. On several occasions some pieces of food were served cold (probably deep-fried frozen) , starters and main dish are being served at the same time or we were being kept waiting almost endlessly. Also not able to eat in the evening at the beach restaurant. Could be Covid, but it is worth mentioning. At the lake there are dog turds all around. The bungalows itself really need new paint . And the the matrasses really need replacement. The small shop only has baguittes and croissants when it used to have more choise. And the baguettes often were so hard you could almost bite a bit of teeth out.

Nice camp site with fiendly personnel. The receptionists speak their languages and go above an beyond to help you with any questions you might have. There's a restaurant which serves a nice meal. Nothing fancy but I enjoyed it. Camp site is clean, the spots to put your tent are a good size. The lake is on the other side of the road. There's a small tunnel that leads you to the beach.

We are an elderly couple and Motorhomers and used this very kept site for a few days stopover. The facilities are perfect, well cared for and set in beautiful gardens. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this site to anyone for short or longer stays and we look forward to returning next time we are on this route. Thank you everyone for our relaxing stay.

Very helpful staff and very well organised. Nice big flat plots. WC & showers are the best we have ever seen. Plenty of shade and easy walk down to lake. Electric hook up and water on each plot. Good restaurant and bar with plenty of staff always on hand to help. Two nice pools and loads of leisure space.

Very quiet in September 2023 but everything open, very friendly. Excellent loos etc. Really great restaurant/bar. Was expecting pizza n chips but surprised by really tasty, well presented tacos, goats cheese salad, potatas bravas, Spanish version of French toast ... don't sound like much but really ell done. Compliments to the chef etc. Not expensive either (€50 for 2 of us including wines). 👍

Great campsite. Had a nice stay here with my husband and two dogs. We camped as we booked late for easter weekend and there weren’t any dog friendly bungalows available. The camping facilities were fab, the showers and toilets were impeccably clean and the pitch was spacious. The food in the bar/restaurant was really nice and service was friendly. We didn’t use the rest of the campsite facilities but it all seemed lovely. It’s in a really beautiful area with lots of nice walks and scenery.

Lovely campsite set within a beautiful area. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. There was a small shop and restaurant which were good value. Showers etc were spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. The pitches had electricity and water and were level. Would be happy to recommend.
