My partner and I celebrated his birthday in Yorkshire, and decided to stay at Burton Lodge - The Bothy. The Bothy is a superb building separate from the guest house. Secluded, comfortable, great amenities and the famous private hot tub! We received an amazing breakfast hamper on our first morning - which included smoked salmon, ham, cheese, fresh croissants, milk,... More

Stayed at Burton Lodge to attend a family wedding. Love the breakfast basket, and you can pre request any preference but otherwise usual continental breakfast and some local ham n cheese. Warm cosy and well insulated from noise we couldn't hear a thing which was a lovely surprise. Will recommend to family and friends... More

What a great hotel - spotlessly clean, very pretty rooms. The staff are all helpful, from the first telephone enquiry, to check out (and beyond, when you find you've left stuff scattered around the room!) The breakfast was really special, freshly cooked and not left in a square metal box! Sally deserves a special mention for her friendly helpfullness. I... More
