We stayed here for only one night, but it wasn’t our first visit and it won’t be our last either! It is such a delight to stay here! Hostess Jorien is so welcoming, warm and caring. And Schoondijke is the best place to stay if you’re looking for silence, in a short distance from the sea and nice places to eat. The rooms are very large and comfortable and delicately decorated. The rooms have everything we need and more. Jorien was even so kind to give me a patch for the blister on my foot :-) . I just could not believe my eyes when I wrote the 1* review! I guess some people can never be pleased… As for breakfast: this is a feast for people who love homemade products and specialities from Zeeland. The bread pudding and “Zeeuwse bolus” were devine! We were spoilt for choice and everything was carefully chosen and super fresh. I loved the different kinds of juices as well! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Horrible. Creepy. Rude service. No desks. Very expensive. Not very spacious. Old TV. Relies on the perfect excuse of "This isn't a hotel." I don't understand the other reviews. I had to complain to my booking company as well. The staff are suited to running mortuary, not a job where you have to greet people. As with much of Europe, customers are considered a nuisance.

We stayed for one night at the Kienstee. Jorien was very welcoming. The bedroom was spacious, clean et nice. We slept very well because it's in a middle of a field and it's absolutely quiet. The breakfast is the cherry on top of the cake, it is absolutely delicious !! Never seen so many things to eat for a breakfast. We will be back !

A warm and beautiful bed and breakfast. The room is decorated in a local style. The bed is big and soft and the shower is nice. The breakfast is a big collection of local and home made products. The owner is a warm and carring woman who can tell you the most beautiful places of the region or places to eat and gives you a verry welcome feeling!!
