This once luxury tented camp has gone down the drain. It needs a miracle to get back to its former glory days. This place is affordable (c.a $45) for a "luxury" tent. On arrival we we allocated a tent which did not have hot water. I requested a "luxury" tent with hot water and I was told that the kitchen...

The "luxury" phudufudu tents are all falling apart. Just walking around the bed made the entire structure shake plus you can clearly see below it's not safe. Taps are leaking in kitchen and bathroom badly. Cutlery is a total joke, more like left overs from previous campers. They state they have white rhino on their game list but I was...

Unable to book in on arrival at 16h50 as reception was closed and the attendant had disappeared. Tile on tent stand missing and / or broken. Kitchenette door broken at hinges and needs to be lifted into place and "locked with a chair to prevent monkeys from getting in. The melamine / formica is swollen and the sink is not...

We spent a long weekend at Phudfudu Camp. From the outside, it looks quite nice, but that's it. When we arrived, we were moved to a different tent because the fridge in ours did not work. Then we were given the incorrect key for our tent and were locked out with nobody in sight to help us. The "kitchen unit"...

Phudufudu is one of two fixed tented camps in the Borakalalo National Park, some 2 hours north of Johannesburg. The setting of the camp is in a corner of the park and maybe not quite as nice as Moretele which close by the river. The camp is made up of a number of standard tents which have the same features...
