The owners and staff are very friendly, we stayed in the barn which was imaculate, the food and drink was top notch, all set in a lovely location! when we woke, we opened the blinds to the veranda to see the lake and surrounding woods covered in snow,, absolutely gorgeous!,,, We highly recommend this place to all!!!

We stayed with a number of family so had a total of 7 rooms booked. The accommodation was excellent, clean and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel very welcome. The owners have certainly paid a lot of attention to detail which enhances the customer experience. We shall definately return again.

We stayed just one night, and from first impressions hopes were not high. Cabin style rooms by a busy road. But a warm greeting, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds; attentive service, and very good food indeed. Simple but if only all hotels of all grades could live up to this. We will be back. I commend this to you

We only stayed a coupe of nights but wished it could be more. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and we had a stunning twin room with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, together with our own mosaic on the wall! The bathroom was a huge wet room with rain shower and was equipped with shower gel, shampoo luxury...

Stayed here a few times whilst working nearby. I would not stay anywhere else as food is first class and staff wonderful. Chalets are little gems. Take a swim, sauna and walk around the grounds to totally relax after a hard days work.

Wow- what an amazing place. Rooms are great, not fancy but perfectly comfortable. Everything that you need including all those little extras. The restaurant is AMAZING. food is fabulous, really could not be better. I am dairy intolerant and nothing was too much trouble. They had gone out of the way to provide alternatives to milk, yoghurt, ice cream and...

Lovely Stay. Made to feel very welcome including our bouncy dog. Rooms were splendid and very taseful. My son remarked it the plushest room he'd ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious - we all agreed the sausages were yummy (even our dog gave them the paws up!) Was heaven to wander around the lake with our dog and stop to...

We stayed for a week in the barn and it was perfect! The facilities were ideal for our dad who is in a wheelchair and the place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owners were always around to help and were very helpful and considerate. The grounds are so relaxing with the fishing lake and all the little seating areas...

This is a great hotel with excellent facilities. We are staying in one of the barns and it is just like staying in an apartment. Self catering facilities are the best I have ever experienced. We will be sure to return in the future. Lots or market towns to visit close by.
