This Gite is run by a friendly couple, the husband is from Devon and is a self taught cook. The wife from Latvia runs the establishment efficiently in a friendly manner. The rooms are clean, spacious and light and comfortable. This is a no frills palce with a small outdoor pool and terrace for the summer months. Continental breakfast is...

Served by very attractive waitress who was friendly and knowledgeable, typical menu for the area, well cooked food and served quickly. The vue and venu was exquisite, the inside dining room was a little bright but I can forgive that considering everything else was good.

The hotel is full of character. Upon arrival you walk by the pool and through a very pleasant courtyard before arriving in reception. We were greeted at the reception by the lovely owner who checked us in immediately and showed us to our room. The room was fantastic, very vintage and fully in line with the hotel feel. The pool...

This is a small, pretty hotel full of character in a lovely, quiet hamlet not far from Riberac. The rooms are all pleasant and spacious - some are outstanding - and it must be the cleanest hotel in the world. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the owners are great. And then there is the food, which is exceptional. Five...

This hotel is worth a visit just for the food alone. But the really friendly service and help offered by the owners Andy and Egija makes the hotel one which we will want to return to. We had a very spacious, well appointed, family room. The hotel has a beautiful dining area and a great pool which our kids took...

particularly nice touches were (1) Allowing my friends to check me in as I didn't get there till midnight, (2) advice from the owner on running routes in the town, (3) letting us check out late as we'd have a late night the evening before, and (4) giving some pastries to some of our friends that missed breakfast. All small...

We have just come back from a week of rest and relaxation and once again we could not fault our hosts , they could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We have already decided to go back again next year. The hotel is both quaint and comfortable at the same time, our room was lovely. The food is excellent,...

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very beautiful. Clean and comfortable and full of character. It was blissfully quiet. We felt very welcomed and would stay here again. Breakfast was basic but fresh.

My husband and I stayed here over Easter weekend. It was our third time here. The first visit was with a friend a few years ago and I do what I can to return as often as I can. It is such a charming, peaceful and relaxing place. A fantastic location to escape the hustle and bustle of normal life....
