Tradicampo Country Houses comprises four antique places: Casa da Fonte and Casa da Talha which are independent Houses; Casa do Tanque and A Arribana belong to a fenced property named Casas do Pátio sharing all the outside area including a pool. They have been renovated, in an environmental sustainable basis with all the comfort of the modern life. A customized and warm welcome and a permanent support is provide to the Guests. If desired, an overview of the island can be presented and many tips about the best way to organize the holidays regarding their interests and time availability can be given. Very important remark: Only Casas do Pátio (Casa do Tanque and A Arribana) have a pool.

Beautiful spacious home in the country

Clean, comfortable home where the only sounds outside your window are the chiming of the church bells and the lowing of the cows. You are greeted by Joao and a well stocked kitchen on arrival. And by the time Joao leaves, you have learned all you'll need to know to plan and enjoy the rest of your time on Sao Miguel. Highly recommend a stay at Tradicampo eco house.…

Nice relaxing place

I recommend staying here. Its in the most isolated and quiet part of the island, about 45 mins drive from the main town. It has a lovely pool and beautiful garden. The manager was very helpful and took quite some time to show me on a map all the points of interest on the island. The tv is satellite and has many channels, although it is rather small. The mattress and pillows were rather hard. Also there were no cereal bowls that were American sized, just some tiny ones and one giant one. The manager kindly included some fresh food in the fridge when I arrived and also a large bottle of fresh unpasteurized milk.…

Tanque house with pool access

And when we re-planned our trip to the Azores, we already knew that we would be staying for a week in this amazing house. This place is relaxing and here you can forget all your daily problems. This place is amazing. Old world charm with 5 star amenities. Joao was amazing when he greeted us and spent a great deal of time giving hints and suggestions as to where to go, what to see, where to eat. Checking in during our stay ( not annoyingly so) to make sure all was well and if there was anything we needed. The items left at the home for us - special tarts, fresh bread, fruit, fridge stocked with essentials, cupboards filled with items. The house is amazing. The peacefulness of sitting on the outdoor covered patio - the incredible yard that you face - as well enjoying the cows and goats on the hill that you watch in the distance. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. Ricardo and Joao know what they are doing. I also applaud their concern for the environment and do everything to be gentle and kind to the planet.…

Amazing Arribata house countryside 10 stars

Ricardo is an amazing organization and has created paradise in Nordestinho Region of Sau Miguel. His goal is make a perfect vacation for his guests. We had Arribata and another family had the adjoining house. We shared the outside pool and cooking oven. It was perfect. We cooked fish in the oven every night. Simply got our fish and veggies in Nordeste and came home to cook. Ricardo provides spices, wood, matches and everything else. When you arrive Ricardo meets you, gives you a tour and helps you prioritize what you want to do. It is an amazing place to spend a week——-…
