We had the treat of staying in this very unique accommodation for 2 nights and enjoyed some wonderful prairie hospitality of Alive sky. We were greeted by 2 friendly dogs upon our arrival. The Grainbin cabin is cute, clean, well stocked and had all we needed to enjoy shacking up for the coldest days of our winter in Saskatchewan ( -30’s). The breakfasts - room service style were so delicious and April made sure we were always comfortable; she also recommended some good places to order supper takeout in Rosetown. We hope to return in summer when we can enjoy a fire outside and the romantic 2 person hot tub. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Thank you so much, Pamela! We don't always get it right, we're only human but we sure try! Bring your friends this summer for a new farm experience we are launching soon... and maybe catch one of our Sunset Dinner in the Field experiences. We would love to host you again in a more friendly, non-covid atmosphere! Stay well, travel well!

We just spent two nights in BINcredible and it was truly an incredible experience. April and Darryl have created an oasis on their farm yard that they so wonderfully share with guests from the Lodge to the two converted grain bins so tastefully decorated with comfy beds and beautiful bedding. The breakfasts served each morning were absolutely delicious but it was all the little extra touches that made the stay so amazing. There were hots tubs and fire pits with everything you need to enjoy the experience. There were hammocks and many comfy out door chairs to just savour the prairie skies and the bird song. The bins were air conditioned and had lovely dishes and very useable kitchen equipment including kuerig coffee machines with lots of choices and fresh cream and creamer in the fridge. These hosts have thought of absolutely everything to make our stay above and beyond. Will definitely be back again and highly recommend this little oasis to anyone who just needs a little getaway to somewhere peaceful and quiet, a country side stay with all the comforts of home and then some.

If you want to experience a unique Saskatchewan getaway then I highly recommend staying at AliveSkye Lodge. My husband and I enjoyed our time in the breathtaking BOHO grain bin. The bin is beautifully decorated in retro Bohemian style with so many interesting touches everywhere you look. We slept in a very comfy bed in the loft which was so peaceful and quiet. The Bin has a full kitchen with all the amenities. The bathroom has a double sink and an amazingly designed tiled shower. This authentic two-story grain bin is something we can't say enough about. April and Darryl Anderson have taken advantage of their farm setting and created this unique accommodation that is truly one of a kind. The surrounding prairie landscape has a view to die for. There is a hot tub where you can sit, sip and enjoy the view. The delicious breakfast is homemade and delivered to the bin door to enjoy inside, out on the deck, or on the top balcony. April and Darryl are friendly hosts that go out of their way to accommodate and make this experience a memorable one. Thank you for creating this special place in Saskatchewan.
As an added bonus the sunsets and sunrises are amazing, and the nighttime features an endless array of stars.

My friend and I stayed at the cowboy “bunkhouse”, with my 11 month old puppy. The “bunkhouse” is nothing more than an ATKO trailer. The bed is extremely high to get into. If you are expecting a hot shower, you need to be the 1st one in there, because the 2nd person gets ice cold water. There is a “table” that folds out, but no chairs to sit at it with. The hot tub had skin floating on the top of the water, and quite a lot of it too. The owner never met my friend & I until she brought breakfast the next morning. There was a minimal discount upon checkout. There isn’t much to do out there, and the owner April is not forthcoming about what you can do to occupy your time. Firewood bundles are $10, which the owner claims are “huge” when she privately messaged me to call me “passive aggressive” after leaving my review on her Facebook page. Please see my review on that page, and her response. Keeping in mind she felt the need to privately message me and scold me. Very bad business, would not recommend. This is not “glamping” and I just want people to know what to expect

Hi Sabrina, When you booked the bunkhouse we were very clear that the dates were made available for online booking by accident and that the space would not be ready for your arrival and offered a refund and rebook at that time. You told us you were desperate for a getaway and that it didn't matter to you as long as you had a place for your pet and breakfast. Due to covid, we were keeping our distance for the comfort of our guests but you could have come to the office upon check in to meet us anytime. You Received a Full Refund even though, when you checked out and paid and I asked you how your stay was, you said nothing about any concerns and then drove away and left this review. You can go to any Lowes, Home Depot and 7-11 and see that our wood is $3-8 less expensive for a larger amount so we will need to agree to disagree. You stated in your review that there was nothing to do but you sat in the same spot the entire time you were here and you missed out on some of the fun things to do on the farm and in the area. You agreed $105 for a pet friendly place with two large breakfasts delivered to your room and a brand new mattress on the bed that was too tall for you was more than fair. I'm not sure what you were expecting but after begging to stay, I would say your expectations were unrealistic. We went out of our way to honour your booking when you stated in two seperate phone calls that you "didnt care" what it was like as long as you could have a getaway. Sabrina, I'm a real person who gave you what you asked for and then gave it to you for free because you were unhappy. Is there anything else we can do for you?

We chose to stay at alive sky lodge for a night away. As tired parents we were just looking for a nice place to sleep with a hot tub. Our expectations were beyond exceeded. It was an incredible stay! Besides the generous and welcoming hosts- the place was everything you would need for a getaway. Fire places, full kitchen, bathroom, comfortable beds, and the decor was so fun. It was very private. Drink coffee on your balcony or hot tub- have an outdoor fire in the evening. For an evening snack we got the charcuterie and dessert and were not disappointed. We were able to choose our time to receive breakfast delivered and it was served hot and delicious. This was a place we would love to return to and would highly recommend for anyone looking for an unique weekend away.

Better than possibly any hotel I’ve stayed at. April and Darryl think of everything; slippers, housecoats, ear plugs at the bedside, 3 ply facial tissue, an assortment of hot beverages…the list goes on and on. I was so very impressed with the hospitality, not just April and Darryl but all of their amazing pets as well. We stayed in the Boho bin and it was exceptional; clean, beautifully decorated, and secluded. Simply perfect. The hot tub was incredible! I think it’s outstanding that this couple has opened up their farm and their lives to share. What a great way to bring something unique to big town Saskatchewan.

Was originally going to be in the new bin however the ladder to the rooms is very steep and the sofa bed is only for one. Fortunate to change to the 2 person bin as there was no one else at the lodge. A beautiful bin with a very comfortable bed, its own 2 person hot tub , own fire pit as well. IMO better value for 2 people then the other. The breakfast was good. A unique experience for a night or maybe 2.

thank you for staying, Bob. We always try to have a space for two and for families. The Boho Bin is definitely more suitable for families although most of our guests have been twosomes. :)

From beginning to end, our stay at Alive Sky was amazing. We took our 6 and 8 year old granddaughters and stayed in the Boho Bin. The girls absolutely loved it and were sad we couldn’t stay a second night. April’s breakfast was amazing. Well done!

We stayed this past July for one night and absolutely loved everything! From the moment I called to book our stay April was so friendly and helpful. Once we arrived she greeted us and made us feel at home and welcome! She had great local suggestions on where to eat and what there is to do. We stayed in the grain bin. It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and it was so beautifully decorated. The next morning she dropped off some cinnamon buns along with other snacks. The entire stay was amazing! We are looking forward to going back!
