We stayed in one of the cabins with ensuite. They're not fancy - but we'd gathered that before we got there. But they're clean and perfectly comfortable. We walked over to the pub for tea and a few drinks. The place is something quite different and quirky and most definitely well worth a visit. The meals are first class.

Well this place is about as remote as it gets. Quirky, to be sure. Old rooms - perhaps a little dilapidated but clean and functional none the less. We even had a green tree frog in the toilet! We only stayed overnight. Pub meals were surprisingly good!!!

In the middle of nowhere, but touristy, with ready Outback charm. Well worth stopping for the night. Leave you knickers or bra hanging at the bar or pin foreign currency to the wall. A few locals stop in so has nice authentic feel. Good pub meals and nice accomodation

The pub itself is great - really unique with a great atmosphere and a good feed. I would not recommend staying here though. The room we stayed at was $145 a night and you could not pay me to stay there again it was so bad! The room was infested with mosquitoes that bit us all night along with spiders...

We stopped on the way up to Darwin, could have stayed longer. The new cabins have everything you need, clean and in good condition. The pub staff and food are great. A huge collection of "gifted" souvenirs. Small pool, all good. Well worth a stop or stop-over.

Great place to stop over on the drive through to Alice Springs. Good fun atmosphere and great pub food. It felt like so much history had happened in this place. The room was suitable and clean. Staff were friendly and attentive.

You can't drive the Stuart Highway without stopping here, that would almost be a crime. Just get there for happy hour! Decorated by those who visit with bras, pants, shirts, hats, stickers, money from their homelands/ travels, business cards and driving licenses. It's a treasure trove of stories. The Barra & Beef is legendary & a must try my travel...

If you want a taste of the Australian Outback this is a must do at least once in your lifetime. The cheap accommodation is very basic and not really somewhere I would stay with my family, but hey you get what you pay for. The cheap rooms were all that was left. The bar is great and the food is...

My family of four stayed overnight in a 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin was new and in good nick - even had a pod coffee maker. Staff were great and very helpful. The food was good as well. I have nothing bad to say about this establishment.

We were here 4 years ago. This time, at end of season, so no live show sadly. The Barra and Beef still a great option and most enjoyable. Stayed in a powered caravan site overnight. Great to vista the quirky character of this place. All good - recommended.
