First time here, it was not bad. The rooms are in small buildings resembling a village with shacks. We chose it for its proximity to the Palenque ruins, and the services they listed on the web, such as AC, 4-5 persons per room, parking lot, and of course, an affordable price, nothing outrageous like some other places nearby. Wifi is...

Cabanas are beautiful and we loved the hamaca that we had outside the room, it was great to seat outside and have a conversation with the rest of the group. The down side was that my room had a strong odor of humidity and water was leaking from somewhere in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice and the people very attentive....

We got to the hotel very late at night and they still received us kindly. The room was nice, fresh and clean. Internet was kind of slow, but one doesn't need it in such a beautiful & quiet place. We could also enjoy the pool area. Due to the lack of time, we couldn't try the food or interact with...

Cabanas in a beautiful garden with a great swimmingpool. That is The positive part. Less nice is: internet is really slow and not available in The cabanas. The garden needs Some maintenance. The rooms are not Well furnished. The maintenance of The room is bad. The hotel had a strange policy for The swimming pool towels. Further in The Road...

The one compliment I must give this hotel is that the people who work there were extremely nice and polite. However, some other aspects made it less than stellar. For one, I was thankful for the ac, but there was no way to moderate the temperature: it was either on or off, so I was either hot or freezing. In...

A couple of years ago my husband and I went to Peru with a tour company that arranged a variety of experiences, adrenaline & relaxing, luxury & back to nature, you get the idea. After going to the obvious places we were taken to the jungle to be “off the grid”. There was the initial, ”What no television?” panic. It...

Only stayed one night. No info at check in except a generic banner showing photos of local sights without text or prices. I wandered back to reception later and an attempt was made to sell me a driven tour to Palenque and onto Aqua Azul somewhat puzzling as we obviously had our own vehicle. WiFi only worked at reception and...

Pleased with our stay. We had room two which was large, clean and pleasant. Pool area and gardens are lovely. food adequate in quality and service relaxed. The reception staff could be better trained but no less skilled than other placed we stayed in southern Mexico.

Stayed 2 nights here, very comfortable and with a lovely pool which was bliss in the hot weather! Pros - lovely rooms, with personal hammock outside, we had two double beds which was handy as we were travelling with our 3 year old son - Well maintained grounds Cons - disappointing service. When we arrived, we couldn’t tell where reception...

We arrived after a 5 hour bus ride from San Cristobal turned into a 19 hour stop-start voyage from the burning depths of hell. Thanks OCC/ADO! The guy on the front desk was humourless and didn't speak English. Kind of a crappy first impression when we ourselves were fairly humourless by that point. We were taken to our room and...
