Lovely big rooms and bathrooms with a safe. Plenty of hot water for showers. Nicely kept on a pleasant street. Downside had to be the noise. The rooms faced into the hotel and any noise echo'd around making ear plugs very useful. Good breakfast. The service was slow, but it was tasty and affordable. There was also access to water...

Wasn't expecting much compared to the standard of other hotels on our recent Tucan tour, but was pleasantly surprised by this one. Lovely location, with rooms surrounding an airy courtyard. Stayed for 3 nights and the towels of everyone in our group were made into new creatures adorned with flower petals each day which was a nice touch. This hotel...

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is in the La Canada district which is a beautiful and quiet part of town. The rooms are very clean, great accomodating staff, AC, safes in the room and just a pleasant all around atmosphere. Very close walking distance from the bus station ( less than 3 blocks) and a short walk to...

Hotel Xibalba is a great mid-range option in Palenque, with good value for money. The hotel is located in the leafy la canada zone, which is peaceful and pretty. It's conveniently located just 200m from the ADO bus station and the main road where you can hail collectivos to the ruins. Heading the other way, it's a quick 5 minute...

Sadly we only stayed at this hotel for one night but it was lovely. The road this hotel is in, is beautiful...very green vegetation. It is a 20 min bus ride to the fantastic temples of Palenqe. The room was big, well equipped with hair drier etc. Our night bus did not leave until 2300 hrs and so for 350...

Great place to stay if you like comfort, quiet, near good restaurants, and convenient to travel agency and transportation to the ruins of Palenque. Staff does not speak English so go prepared with your English/Spanish dictionary. All very friendly. Rooms are clean and worry free. Be sure to try the pancakes for breakfast.

This is a moderately priced facility with a clean and middle of the road décor located in the heart of Palenque's tourist road, Col. La Canada. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. We did not need to use the AC which was included at no charge. The furnishings in our second floor, mid-building room consisted of two...
