We only stayed in Hotel Xibalba one night. We arrived early in the morning and although our room was not ready they were happy to lock up our luggage so that at we could go out and explore. The hotel is just around the corner from where you can catch a collectivo/combi to the ruins for 20 pesos. The hotel...

We arrived here after an 8 hours overnight trip from Chetumal. We arrived at 5am and they make us pay the entire fare, but the room was spacious, clean, best shower ever had in mexico and powerful wifi! 450 pesos the double with private bathroom.

We turned up early at 8am after an overnight bus trip. We had reserved a room for the evening and they kindly let us straight in so we could freshen up. Room was small but good, clean bathroom. It's not really a place to hang out as there isn't much atmosphere and the communal dining area was always deserted and...

Compared to the other hotels in Palenque it looked smaller and more individual than some of the touristy places we saw. The room was clean, although most of them face the hallway which makes them seem unnecessarily dark. There were little holes in the wall between the bathroom and the sleeping room as well as the sleeping room and the...

just 2 blocks from Hwy and 10 min from Archeological zone, at $38 usd for a modern, very clean double, with very good wifi, aircon and parking, a good deal. Most comparable hotels on the road to the ruins (no pun intended) have wifi in the lobby and only on non rainy days, unless you pay way over $100 for...

There are several hotels in frenetic downtown Palenque, but if you're driving a rental car, the claustrophobic narrowness of the streets, high traffic, and apparent paucity of parking will likely put you off---the Hotel Xibalba had plenty of on-street parking during our stay, and a small estacionamiento as well. Located in La Canada, a shady and well-maintained area just off...

We stayed here for 2 nights to see the ruins. Room was great, clean and had everything you would expect, as well as being a good size. We didn't eat there as it didn't seem too welcoming, nor did we try the free coffee that is only available between 5:00am to 6:50am...! There are lots of great food places nearby,...

It is ok to stay 1 night in Palenque and easily reach the center for dinner. The rooms have space, air conditioning, ceiling fan and other services such as the hairdrier, the wifi connection and the TV. The general atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming and you can have good rest here. There is no wardrobe but just a small space...

Palenque is a true Mexican tourist town and generally caters to the Mexican market. Accommodation is limited in choice in Palenque, but this was a good one for us. Located in La Canada - the best part to be, away from the bustle of city life in downtown. Convenient for ADO, catching collectivos and a short walk into town as...
