Very nice and cosy hotel with a swimming pool near the jungle. You can hear the monkeys in the jungle and have a beautiful view on the stars at night! Also a very good restaurant for all meals of the day. Simple but confortable rooms but we didn't have running water in the mornings and you have to wait about... More

I stayed here on a G Adventures group tour. This was a fun rustic location. I really liked the gorgeous green jungle setting. We could hear howler monkeys. The pool was great for cooling off but is rather shallow. Still we had great chats and it's something to do. There is no wifi at all. Guides can use it but... More

My favourite things about this hotel were the location (in the jungle and near palenque ruins) the pool ( had a lot of fun relaxing here in the evenings). My room was comfortable, the food in the restaurant was good ( though service was a little slow at times ) it would have been better if the wifi worked, otherwise... More

My stay at the Mayabell was very pleasant. The pool is nicely located and sometimes you get a good view on the monkeys in the trees surrounding it. There were some leaves in it, but when your surrounded by jungle you'll always have some in the water. Rooms are rustic but the beds are more then decent. Had a cockroach... More

What a Wonderful place! My second time here Camping! The camping spots are very good.... There is a hut for Camping to give shade from the scorching Sun plus protect from the Jungle rain! Didn't stay at the Bungalows but they look Awesome! All of the place is very clean....only "Downsides": Water from the Swimming pool is not heated so... More

Best vibe on the planet...great people, low prices. Swing and sleep in a hammocha (hammock) under a Palapa for 80 pesos a day. Inside the National Park, your Palapa is in a rain forest and you are within walking distance to The Fantastic Ruins of Palenque. Quiet at night with a great mix of travelers from around the world. If... More

Negatives: Damp sheets because of Humidity. Restaurant order & pay, take order to window, collect when name called which makes delivery erratic. Problems with early start at restaurant No Wi-Fi . No AC.  (freestanding Fans in rooms 14-17). Strong smell (?gas?) in bathroom made showering unpleasant Positives Nice Pool. Food & drink (great cocktails) cheap & fair options Good spaghetti with mushrooms... More

I absolutely loved my stay at Maya Bell! The jungle lodges are beautiful. Very basic but clean with everything you need. The pool area is amazing but what makes it is the restaurant and bar. Gracie who runs the bar is awesome! Her cocktails are sublime - especially the margheritas. Best cocktails I've ever had! Food was great and staff... More
