This was an unplanned but positive stay as part of our road trip. Car trouble left us needing to stay in Carmila over the weekend. We found this caravan park on google, and on calling to make a reservation the staff were very friendly and eager to accomodate our needs. The family running the place were incredibly friendly, open for...

Very Dirty, old, falling apart, stinks and the list goes on. Cob webs, dust, bugs, insect screens broken, steps to door broken and loose, I can't really speak much worse of a place than this. Do yourself a BIG favor and keep moving to Sarina or Clairview trust me you will not enjoy this place,

A caravan park in the middle of nowhere in a very small village. Our cabin was clean with kitchen and a fresh bathroom. Sleep one night here on your travel. There is not a thing to do here especially for the kids.

Hi I found myself staying in this park for 5 nights, because of motor trouble. The family that ran it was very friendly and helpful, allowing me the use of their facilities and equipment as I thought I may as well have a big clean out of my van. The park is older, but, very clean. Upgrades are going to...

Great little caravan park with helpful staff! Great facilities with a 24hr truck stop nearby to cater food. It was a clean and tidy, well maintained park. It was positioned off the main road so it was quiet at night. Good for a pit stop on a long journey.

Stayed for the night while heading north. A basic, but nice little park with very clean amenities. We had no road noise, and had a good meal from the roadhouse next door. The staff are friendly and helpful and our dog was made very welcome. We will stay here again. It was very popular with all but one of the...

We broke a trip north with a stay of a few nights. The caravan park side of things seems to be very popular with travellers and each afternoon we witnessed an influx of caravans and motor homes. They have a few cabins and motel rooms as well, and we elected to stay in one of the motel rooms which are...

We stayed here (2ad, 2ch) on our way from Townsville to Yeppoon at Easter. Our dog could stay on the front balcony which was nice for him. Comfortable lodgings and accommodating managers. No issue with noise from the highway overnight. Recommended to break up your driving holiday.

We stayed here on our way up to Ingham. We have too large but well behaved dogs and they were able to stay on our balcony for the night. Location is very convenient with the Truck stop next door, although that does make it a bit noisy. Staff were extremely friendly and obliging. we liked it so much that we...

Had trouble getting any parks/motels to answer their phone at 6.30pm. Kept heading south from Sarina hoping to chance something and by luck spotted the small sign on the highway just before the BP garage at Camila. Took the motel room, old but clean and comfortable. All facilities and roomy. I had room 4 and had no problems with traffic...

“Unit one was well set out and you could watch television from bed but was a bit too close to the truck stop and was very noisy. Units in the middle were quieter but not as well set out. There is a toaster and microwave so, if possible, take bread and food that can be reheated.”
