Having fled a horror story of a reservation at a local hotel (see my other reviews) Laurel and her family came to our rescue with a room as we had to move in the middle of the night. They were welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home. Would have loved to stay longer and if we are ever in the area again they would be our first choice of accommodation. Don't bother reading any further...just book it! ;)

I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone, we were made to feel completely at home and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities at Y Grange were also great ... the snooker table was there to be used (we spent a few hours in the evening playing) there was also a dart board and a games console to use if you required. The breakfast was also top notch Well worth a visit

Although we got a tad lost on our way to the B and B, with one quick call the owner was happy to come and direct us. Upon arrival, staff were welcoming and offered refreshments, much needed after a long journey. The room was beautiful, just one issue, you cannot lock your own room when you leave, it is lockable from the inside only. This was slightly unsettling as we had wanted to leave our things here before heading out to visit family. Beds were comfortable and the room was kept plenty warm enough. Breakfast had a good choice and food was very nice. Owner entered our room whilst we were eating and informed us after doing so which I felt was a tad inappropriate. All in all I would recommend Y Grange, the only other issue I had was the poor sheep dog locked outside in the rain who was soaked, poor thing, but that’s just me and my love for dogs.
