Just driving back home now after spending a few nights here as a small break with my partner and one year old. And I will say everything was perfect, Lyn was such a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble for her. Lovely clean room which was plenty big enough for us and breakfast was beautifully laid out every morning ready and waiting for us, where we were able to sit outside by the garden and pool which was perfect. Very peaceful and quiet, only positive and kind words from us! Thank you so much for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and if we're back in the area again in the future we would love to come back and stay again. Fantastic bed and breakfast!

Our first family weekend trip after lockdown was lifted and it was perfect! Lynne made sure that we had everything we needed and nothing was too much of an ask. We ate dinner on the patio next to the chiminea whilst listening to birds sing. We also got to enjoy the company of George and Jedi (the friendliest dogs in town) Pool is fantastic! Garden is glorious! Will absolutely return in future!

A lovely warm greeting from Lynn, the room was spacious warm, comfortable and full of small little welcome touches, such as a myriad of different varieties of tea, coffee, fresh milk in a small refrigerator, fresh water, selection of biscuits. The wifi was strong and reliable. Breakfast in Lyns kitchen was a delightful experience and the food freshly cooked in front of me and delicious. I cannot recommend this gem highly enough.

I must admit, after choosing the B&B because of a 9.6 rating on Booking.com I really had high expectations of this place, I wasn’t disappointed. The owner, Lynn, communicated via email to discuss any requirements and even phoned to check what time we’d arrive to make sure she’d be in. Lynn is one of the friendliest owners you could meet. She even introduced her dogs: a huge mastiff and a Jack Russell. As dog people, that was a highlight of my day! We even met a puppy over breakfast which was so cute! Dogs are kept well away from folk not keen though. Every single thing about the room is thoughtful: the massive tea selection in the drawers, the mini fridge with fruit juice and fresh milk, the phone charger in the wall, there were even some reading glasses and I found a pair of scissors just when I needed some. The teddies in the cupboard was a nice touch too for when kids stay. Breakfast was lovely, a tonne of choice - Lynn will make you whatever you like, she discussed with us when we arrived what we would like for breakfast the next day. It was very thoughtful and very well cooked! I’d wholeheartedly give it a 10/10 and recommend to everyone. I’d happily stay there again. I’d also recommend the Royal Oak a bit further along the road for food, it was lovely.
