We visited on Saturday, the booking hadn't gone through, I hadn't realised I hadn't had the confirmation. The receptionist made a huge issue of this, eventually charged us extra for room 14. Tiny, bed against wall, dark, it's bathroom was bigger. OK not their error, but made to feel very unwelcome. We left 5 minutes later and got offered an...

4 kids at home and a rare night out! Beautiful surroundings and attentive and professional staff. However shortly after our starters arrived an emergency arose at home and we had to leave quickly. The waitresses were amazing - the bill attained in second and we were not even charged for the main course! Thank you so much to the amazing...

I said to the receptionist I wouldn't go on TripAdvisor to voice my opinion on this place after complaining, however in retrospect I feel I do have a duty to inform others of my experience. This is a Good Nights Inn hotel located in the beautiful village of Kirby Muxloe, right next its namesake (Kirby Muxloe Castle). We've been coming...

Booked table for 6.30. Not too busy. Seated n drinks order taken efficiently. We chose the 2 courses for £12.99. Pate, mushrooms both gorgeous. Beef burger, chicken salad n lasagne all heartily put away. Friendly staff. Good service. Good price too. Puddings looked good if you don't fancy a starter or have all 3 for couple quid more. Highly recommend.

Stayed in the executive suite. Minor problem (not their fault) but the staff could not have done any more to sort things out for me. Was treated with professionalism and courtesy and left with a very favourable impression not only of the Castle Hotel, but will now look for other hotels in the Good Night Inns chain.

I came with our family of four to dine at this place last Sunday evening. Our drinks order were taken and brought, but there wasn't a white tea we ordered! We thought that they will bring it later and was waiting... The waitress wasn't welcoming... 30 minutes to wait for the order being taken - shame. We came with children...

We booked this hotel on line with a view to an overnight stay midway Leeds and our home in Surrey. When we walked in we thought it was a little shabby but thought, well, we are tired and we knew it had a three star rating so lets not condem it straight away without seeing the room. We were met...

First room we were given was small and shabby, we were then upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was much larger but unfortunately nearly as shabby. My general opinion of the hotel was that it was very tired and in much need of a make over. We ate in the restaurant, the food was very good and all the staff...

We are pleased that you enjoyed your meal with us and appreciated our excellent customer service, as these are two key factors that we pride ourselves on. The rooms are clean, but hotel the decor is tired and there is poor sound insulation between the rooms - I was woken up a couple of times by the person in the next room moving around at night or snoring. The food in the pub/restaurant is OK but nothing special.

We only stayed one night as a quick stop on our way touring castles around England. A plus for us was that there is a castle within walking distance of the B & B that we did in the morning before we left. The room was warm and larger than most hotel rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful....
