You couldn't do better than spend a night or two or three at Elliminook.A charming establishment run by experienced hosts Peter and Jill,we enjoyed a return visit recently. From the friendly welcome to the well presented rooms and delightful garden and surrounds, this B&B has reached the top of the game. We even had a great chat over breakfast with the other...

Unfortunately only booked in to Elliminook for one night. Could have stayed for several. The hosts were so lovely and the beautiful old homestead so welcoming and comfortable. We had time to wander in the rambling garden and enjoyed a little time sitting in the sun to read. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, just want we needed. I...

We enjoyed our one night stay here as the house is very comfortable but at the same times encompasses the charm of those homes built by true tradesmen some 150 years ago. Our hosts were very kind to us, allowing us to register early as we had a luncheon booking at Brae, some three kilometres up the road, and Peter...

Elliminook is a fabulous place to spend a weekend or even just a night. Located 3 kms from Brae and 600m out of town the location is perfect. From the time you check in Jill and Peter cannot do enough for you. Their hospitality is warm and their knowledge of the area outstanding. The gardens and homestead are divine. Worth...

Elliminook is a beautiful, spacious homestead which is elegantly decorated, not over the top with ornaments. Our room Hope is large and comfortable. There is a spacious garden, though we did not have time to walk around it. The homestead is convenient for visiting the Great Ocean Road, Lorne & the Otway Ranges, not to mention dinner at Brae, in...

It was a beautiful Victorian period room, very comfy with a lovely bathroom. We could open our blinds and have a lovely rural outlook past the gardens - the hosts drove us and picked us up from BRAE and they gave other site seeing recommendations too ! The breakfast was outstanding with home made preserved fruit to go with our...

Not our style. Overly ornate. Historical aspects overridden by ornaments. Rooms small and meals to be eaten out. Breakfast lovelyWould suit some but not others. A grand old home but no written history to read. Extra for open fire which would have made it more cosy. Couldn't use USB key in television. Bed very very firm. Not a place we...

The cottage apartment had everything we needed. It is warmly furnished and gave us plenty of room with view of the gorgeous gardens. On arrival we would have been very pleased to be shown the room and allowed to settle in with a little less curiosity from the host.

After reading all the reviews, I was expecting a great deal from this venue.. Maybe if we had free transport to and fro from Brae, I would be raving too.. Just be aware sometimes you only get what you pay for, including the wood for the open fire.. If we had of got the cheaper broom closet, we purchased online,...
