My partner and I spent 1 night here. The hotel was still packed with Easter holiday families. We didn't get a sea view room but it was beach front. No view, which meant no windows, from the room but it was sufficient for the purpose of spending some quality time with each other. Will visit again. Hopefully getting a better...

There were broken tiles throughout the pool and several memembers of my group were cut on the feet, including my children and parents. When complaints were made to the manager, we were given sullen looks and told that she had no first aid kit, only three fabric plasters, which were inadequate. I requested that the management get supplies from a...

Radix isn't a bad place, you have to remember where you are at - Mayaro, Trinidad, not exactly the seat of luxury. The gentleman who ran the place with beyond nice. He knocked on my door nightly and ran to get me food when I asked. The cleaning staff were great (more on this in a second) and handled all...

Radix may not be the most modern resort but its comfortable for a family getaway. The suites are a little on the old side but it's kept clean. The amenities of the pool and being right on the beach are great. The staff, especially the security officers were friendly and helpful when assistance was needed. A nice addition is that they...

This is a great place to stay, they treat you like family. The facilities are maintained meticulously, and the staff always makes sure that you are safe and have plenty of good food to eat. It is located in a region where public tap water is not common so don't expect the Ritz. Given the location, the facilities are top...

This was my first visit to Radix and I was totally blown away with the place. Upon entering the compound the Security Guard, Lloyd, welcomed us with a smile and proceeded to give us what he called the VIP treatment, and it truly was. They even had a wheelchair on hand for my mom.The office staff, Kimberly and Shania, were...

Apparently customer service and facilities management are terms foreign to the tourism sector of Trinidad. On a day trip to Radix we asked if we can visit thw restaurant and bar and visit the establishment. For this request our answer was that we must pay 50 TTD each and that the restaurant was closed... The place was jam packed with...

The downside ; WIFI is slow at times, the beds&mattresses&shower needs a upgrade. The hot water is not available all...

My husband and I visited Radix for my aunt's 65th birthday celebration. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment directly facing the pool. There were also single units available. We were all impressed by the cleanliness of the room and surroundings. There were showers and washrooms accessible throughout the resort. The resort allows for day-visitors as well. Rooms were all...
