Highly recommend Hotel Solaris if you are visiting this tranquil and bucolic area of Abruzzo. Staff go out of their way to make sure you're happy and comfortable. It's steps away from the beach and the best pizza you will ever eat. Breakfast is fresh and abundant. We didn't go for the full meal plan but the one time we had dinner there it was excellent. The hotel is close to the pretty city of Vasto and you will be wowed by coastal drives going either north or south.

I must admit that I was not a guest here, but that makes the staff's willingness to help a stranger even more impressive! I emerged from the train station here, not realizing that the town on the actual stop is quite some distance away. Although there were "supposed" to be buses running, it appeared that this was not the case. Information about any sort of public transport was very vague; everybody had cars. The staff became involved and spent a great deal of time trying to help me solve my problem, even though they knew I wasn't staying there. If I hadn't paid for another accommodation, I would have loved to have stayed there.

The hotel, spotless and very welcoming, has large rooms with terrace. The absolutely helpful and kind staff, goes beyond the normal reception activity. We stayed overnight and today we had the golden wedding lunch. They let us keep the room until the evening. I've never seen that happen. The seafood cuisine is absolutely superior. The impeccable service. What about: you need to try.!

Quiet place with correct and helpful staff
The cuisine as exquisite as the service staff. Thanks to Nicola, Sara, Alessia and others whose names I do not know. A hug to a sweet presence. The care of the food and its abundance pampered us for a week

L 'Hotel is a clean and cozy... penalized only by the fact of not being right on the seafront... but the owners know how to compensate for this small drawback with an excellent welcome... Alexia the receptionist is friendly and friendly as the owners... the food is of extraordinary quality... you eat in the room with excellent background music... tivagliato du cloth and crystal glasses... with high quality raw materials... eight wine cellar... the Owner is sommelier... great sign of civilization welcome small dogs that can access all the hotel premises that facilitate in every way their stay. Excellent also the beach services included where possibly you can msngiare excellent gourmet sandwiches and make delicious aperitifs... the cleanliness of the rooms is excellent... after the work of the kind ladies in the room there is a nice smell of clean... linen changed every day... GO TO SOLARIS .. IT DESERVES.

The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the Casalbordino station, in a very convenient position to reach even by car.
You are greeted by friendly and helpful staff in a facility that has certainly seen better times. Our room was very large, but a little lacking in terms of cleanliness (dirty windows, a little dust on the bed head, bathroom not ventilated enough...).
The air conditioning is quite effective but very noisy, especially with a variable noise which is therefore particularly annoying at night. Even from the nearby state road, as well as from the adjacent rooms, often annoying noises come from and the soundproofing is certainly not a strong point of the structure: I recommend earplugs for the night. Comfortable beds.
Outside there is a fairly large car park but not private or guarded, always quite full (July) but there is never a shortage of space.
The room keys are not left with the doorman but hang on a key ring monitored by cameras... I didn't particularly appreciate this.
Breakfast is served on the veranda in front of the hotel, in a way that didn't drive me crazy: there are tables set with something already served (a couple of croissants, a few slices of cake, and little more), and in the buffet area It's not like there's much else (very little salty). In short, forget the typical holiday hotel buffet that makes you feel spoiled and pampered. Maybe in the end you would eat the same things, but it's different.
The beach is easily reachable via the station underpass, but it is managed in an absolutely terrible way. The lifeguard is practically never there and more than once there has been confusion in the assignment of umbrellas: probably some guest had simply misunderstood his number, but the fact is that the situation had to be resolved between the two contenders or at most by calling the hotel. Is it acceptable for the lido to be "self-managed"?
A kiosk is under construction, in fact (in July) it was finished but closed. Maybe it will have opened in the meantime. The bathroom is there but, evidently, it is only open at the discretion of the aforementioned fugitive lifeguard: for example, at lunch time, it was always closed. On the other side of the street, however, there is a bar and a pizzeria.
The price, in this crazy 2023, was still honest considering that the beach service was also present, and this, together with the tranquility of Casalbordino and the friendliness of the staff, partially saves the stay.
