If you are intersted in a quite, cosy and friendly place don't hesitate to book your holiday in The Garden Resort. The owner family is extremely intersted to do whatever is needed to make their guests happy. They speak English and German.
The rooms are confortable and have a fabulous view of the mountains.
In the neir surroundings you can visit all kind of interesting places like Brasov, a medevial city or the famous Dracula Bran Castle.
The restaurant is well-appointed and the staff friendly.
We had different kind of food starting from tipical Romanian to all kind of international food. The ingrediants are provided from local producer, real Slow Food.
The hotel also has a nice relaxing area and possibillities to book massage.
Children are welcome and have a lot of possibillities to play around the hotel.
Anyway we planned to be here again asap.

Located on a ridge, it is one of the few guesthouses to offer brilliant views of either the Bucegi or Piatra Craiului mountains, depending on which side of the hotel your room is on. And then there was the food..... Although it might not be the fastest in Romania, we were absolutely delighted with both its quality, quantity and price. The restaurant also has incredible views over Piatra Craiului. The cleanliness and general decor of the rooms and the guesthouse in general made it feel like an expensive hotel in a capital city. Obviously a lot of thought had gone into getting this right.

Negatives? The restaurant could be faster, but our group felt that the quality of the meals made up for this. The snooker/billiards table was also directly under some of the rooms - a curfew of 22:00 might help light sleepers like myself have a better night.

Overall it was a very positive experience and we'll certainly come back.

I enjoyed to spend 4 nights there with my family
Good placed as to can access all touristic objectives around Dracula Castle but also offering a good and quiet stay, with an amazing view on both Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains

The location is great, indeed. The hotel is not badly decorated (although I would say the owners exaggerated a bit with the oriental decorations. Besides that, half of the light bulbs in the lamps in the rooms were not working (in the bathroom there was a kind of oriental chandelier which had 8 light bulbs out of which only one was working, giving a very poor light - forget the shaving at that light).
The owners are not that friendly, I should say. The staff in the restaurant was average but the waiting time is way too long. One day we waited more than one hour to have two of the three courses served and we had to give up the ordered desert because it was too late already and the desert was not coming. Not to mention that some of us came home with a nasty stomach illness and we suspect it was caused by the breakfast which was using the leftovers from the previous evening party - neither of us ate anything else that day until we've got home.
No water or juice with the breakfast. Besides that, they wanted, initially, to charge us for the breakfast coffees.
Overall, promising in the beginning but proved very disappointing in the end.

First of all, I must say: the views to the mountain are spectacular no matter where you are in this hotel. You can hardly take your eyes off the windows.
The lounge area is exquisite, the restaurant and terraces are amazingly well furnished and have high quality decorations. A place of good taste. The food was also good and decently priced. Not so many dishes to actually choose from though (otherwise advertised in the restaurant's menu), but for us this was hardly a problem.
Welcoming and qualified staff, very friendly and always willing to be of assistance.
An area easy to reach, very close to the main road but yet without being noisy thanks to the surrounding trees and it's altitude.
They have an old piano at the reception area and occasionally there's a band playing.
Also have a sauna, jacuzzi and a pool table with a pretty decent setup. The rooms we stayed in were comfortable and clean.
Had some minor issues with the sink drain but they solved the problem quickly enough.
Also, a very good place for children, the garden (a small park in the back of the building with nice alleys, a small and fancy pond, a water course and some tables) has strong fence and from the terrace you can actually keep and eye on everything.
We had a wonderful time and will surely return.

Thats really a nice &warm hotel ! I had such a great time there, i just wait to come back! The view is Wow:the hotel is up in the mountains, 250-300 m up from the main road, in the wintertime can be a little bit difficult to go up without a 4+4 car. Everything is wonderful: the cafe area, the restaurant, the rooms, the stuff is friendly . It has also a special place for kids to play . No hair dryer & no fridge in the room,This hotel is the perfect place to relax, no noise, nothing all around just the nature! I think its the best place i've seen till now in the Moeciu area! I would recommand it to everyone!

This place is literally heaven on Earth. More precisely, it's the perfect place to escape and blend in the nature and all the golden views that Garden Resort offers. The food is EXCELLENT and the staff is very friendly. Even if we stayed for just 3 days, we felt as being part of a family. Everything we needed was there and way more than we expected!
