Four magical days at Castell Son Claret have just come to an end. The first thing that strikes you is the sheer beauty of the property, inside and out - everything is immaculate, the grounds, the public areas, the rooms. It’s obvious that there is attention to detail and a huge amount of pride from all the team. The staff are incredibly polite and bend over backwards to be helpful. From Stefania in the restaurant to Roberto at the bar, and the excellent reception team.

Our room was spectacular, the Ren products are divine and the showers are wonderful - the true rainfall experience. The beds are very comfortable and individual duvets is such a lovely touch, making sure no one hogs all of it!

We ate all of our meals at the hotel, breakfast was a highlight with attentive service and a very tasty buffet, the pastry chef knows what they are doing! The cooked to order eggs were great and the speed at which food and our essential morning coffee arrived were spot on.

Lunches by the pool were just what you’d expect, comfort food with a Spanish touch, and the choice of eating at your lounger or at a table was very much appreciated. The pool itself is remarkable, in immaculate condition, huge and so refreshing.

Dinner at Sa Olivera was enjoyable, with a drink from Roberto beforehand in the bar. The tables are all incredibly romantic and the setting feels like a mix of Mallorca and Tuscany. Our sea bass in salt was ginormous, too much for the two of us, but delicious. The wine list as well was comprehensive and although not an expert on my Spanish wines the help from the team meant we tried a spectacular red and white during our stay.

We also dined at their Michelin star restaurant, Sa Clastra, taking the full menu and wine pairing. Although a shame we couldn’t eat in the courtyard, the internal setting was romantic and the service just what you would expect. I can see why the restaurant has a Michelin star and to find this level of cooking with a creative Mallorcan influence was a pleasure.

On checkout we were able to use the spa before our evening flight and that is also worth visiting, although we didn’t have a treatment I would imagine they would also be top notch.

Although we have only just left I’m plotting my return trip - this is a fab spot and one I’d love to return to.

A hotel that definitely deserves to be called a leading hotel. Located in a wonderfully maintained park-like area, the hotel consists of a main building and several outbuildings in the complex. Architecturally designed in a country house style, the rooms are equipped with elegant interior design and convey a sense of spaciousness and an absolute feel-good atmosphere. The cleanliness is perfect. The breakfast also scores with the top quality of the food on offer, and when the weather is good you can sit on a beautiful outdoor terrace with a view of the well-kept garden with a very spacious pool area. The wellness/spa/fitness area is also designed to the highest quality. But in our opinion all of this is perfected by the people who work in this hotel. From the room attendants and gardeners to the reception and the service staff in the restaurants to the management, we felt an unconditional friendliness and appreciation towards us as guests, always authentic and never fake, that's how hospitality at a high level works.

We stayed at the Son Claret hotel and couldn't be more satisfied. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a refreshing towel with the hotel perfume and a delicious welcome lemon juice, which made us feel immediately relaxed.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very quiet, perfect for lounging and disconnecting. The tranquility of the surroundings is ideal to get away from the daily hustle and bustle and enjoy a real disconnection.

The small details and use of the pool made our stay even more pleasant. Definitely a place we'll go back to. Highly recommended!

We stayed 2 nights at Castell Son Claret
Ideally located, close to Palma and the Port of Andrax but also Valldemossa everything is 29/30 min which suited us perfectly.

The arrival at the castle is very beautiful, and the welcome very warm. A valet is waiting for you on site to pick up or pick up your vehicle when you go for a walk which is very appreciable.

We stayed in a classic room but I recommend opting for a room overlooking the park because we regretted our choice overlooking the small inner courtyard so beautiful the park

The rooms are rather large, clean, very well thought out with a large bathroom.

The breakfast restaurant offers a view of the pool, the setting is really nice.
The breakfast buffet is a bit limited considering the place and what you can have in this type of establishment in Mallorca which is a bit of a shame.
The products are of high quality but few choices.
However, the service is great đź‘Ś

Pension offers swimming pool, spa, tennis difficult to get out because it feels good

The pool is very beautiful, enough high quality deckchairs around the pool for all guests and there is a nice wicker cart and hats in his room to get there.
The pool bar / restaurant offers a short menu we tested it both days and everything was really delicious (Award may be a little excessive vs. quantity)
Nevertheless we regretted the quality of the service pool bar, very long wait for a drink, dish served without cutlery, deserted tables are not served in the aftermath and the waiter clears instead of making your coffee
In short only black spot of the stay but it is true that it is quite amazing in this type of establishment.

Note on the 2 nights: No overnight service to redo the room to close the curtains etc I did not think to ask but I was very surprised.

Do not hesitate to call on the concierge +++ of the place who guided us in our reservations of Places and Things to do by finding us tjs from the place at the last minute 🙏🙏

We will go back!!

We had a really, really great time at the Hotel Castell son Claret. The hotel is beautifully located in the southwest of Mallorca, right at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains. The trip there alone with the picturesque landscape and the view of the mountains is worth the trip. The complex has a beautifully landscaped garden and is very spacious overall with lots of greenery. The outdoor pool is large and the spa with an indoor pool, hamam, sauna and massage options is also highly recommended.

We spent our stay in the Terrace Suite, which I highly recommend. This offers from the bed and the terrace a fantastic view of the mountains and the very beautiful garden. The suite offers plenty of space and has a large bathroom with, among other things, a free-standing bathtub, from which you also have the best view of the landscape.

With the Olivera as well as the gourmet restaurant Sa Clastra, the Castell offers an excellent cuisine, whereby the very attentive, courteous, competent service is to be emphasized. I have rarely experienced a service with such a sophisticated level of communication as here. Always with the right feel for the situation. You are feeling welcomed and at home from the first hour, almost like being in the circle of a small, warm family. This was also helped by the fact that for my birthday the staff sang very nice and there was a small, incredibly delicious cake. Departure is really more than difficult here. We also noticed very positively that we were greeted very nicely by the hotel manager Björn Spaude.

Overall, we can highly recommend the hotel. The facility, the service, the kitchen, the rooms, everything was wonderful and the warm but not intrusive atmosphere rounded it off perfectly. We would like to come again.

We stayed for 3 nights in this dream of hotel. We were picked up by the available shuttle service at the airport. From that moment on, pure relaxation began. Arriving at the hotel we were warmly welcomed. The goal stated at the reception - that we will come back after our first visit - was met immediately by the polite, attentive and extremely relaxed staff. From morning to evening we were cared for in a pleasant way. Also the rooms are a dream. The “normal” double room with daylight bath is very spacious, well tempered and perfectly darkenable. The rooms are soundproof. We didn't notice any other guests. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The pool is incredibly large in terms of the number of guests. Loungers are always free - not a silly fight for places. I found the quite warm temperature pleasant and still refreshing. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The quality of the breakfast was outstanding. It was a pity to me alone that some things didn't actually come after when they were off. On the last day I would have liked to have eaten another piece of ensaimada but although we were always early got nothing more. Lunch at the pool bar was disappointing compared to breakfast and dinner at Olivera and too expensive. Good I think you can book a water flat as the hotel is away from everything.

Wow, what a beautiful setting and building. The staff are amazing and so helpful - they even provided a buggy to take our bags to our room while we enjoyed a very welcome soft drink. The facilities are impeccable, and the whole vibe of the place is one of tranquil peace and quiet. This is understated luxury at its best, and is my new favourite destination.

Since 2015 we have stayed at Castell Son Claret, sometimes with more than one visit in the year. We love this hotel.

Its position is spectacular; an impressive crenelated finca in a rural setting against a mountainous backdrop. Immediately next to the hotel grounds is the Unesco World Heritage site of Finca GalatzĂł, offering numerous walks either on the flat or up mountainous tracks for the more adventurous; an exquisitely beautiful and peaceful place. And for those looking for other activities there is a 20m pool, tennis court, gym and spa etc.

Whenever we return to Castell Son Claret we are made wonderfully welcome; in fact for our whole stay we are made to feel like we are the most important people there. The staff are incredibly polite and considerate to your needs. Staff turnover is very low and so it’s a pleasure to see so many familiar faces time after time.

The hotel works to and achieves very high standards in the service it offers and this is matched by the level of the food. Their breakfasts are simply the best from their freshly prepared fruits and juices to their cooked options and homemade pastries and breads.

All the reception rooms and bedrooms are decorated in a contemporary simple but stylish manner.

Above all, what first attracted us to this hotel were its exceptional gardens. They are a complete joy. We particularly look forward to taking our first drink of the evening down into the main garden and choosing a secluded spot to sit in this magical setting.
