We had family stay at thiruvannamalai. Stay was worthy and wonderful view room. Food quality was good pure veg, also we tried veg pulao , paneer makhani was too good taste. I would like to mention Priyanga and suresh was extreme gud service and good guidance. Newly renovated hotel was good ambience great dharshanam memories ever at season. We will be back

Hotel is not clean No internet available at room ,food at hotel is very expensive .Overall Experience is not good .No Covid protocol followed ,i see people working in Restaurant with no mask,So Room is not clean ,There is no value for the money.All the things is hotel is very old and its time to change the things.So i won't recommend any one ,actually it was family outing after long but totally spoiled because of selecting this hotel.

We stopped for a night here, and found the location to be beautiful, surrounded by trees, built around a lovely courtyard. Overall, a great experience, but the facility needs some TLC to be really great. We as a couple have stayed all over india in a variety of settings. Here are our honest findings of Arunai Anantha Resort. Room 110, ground level. Pros. Staff is accommodating, thoughtful, kind, warm and friendly. They could answer our many questions about Ramana ashram. The night was quiet and peaceful, the air clean, being at the foot of arunachala mountain. Trees surround the hotel. Filled with chirping birds in the morning. Perfect for yoga. Pool is pristine clean and sparkling Rooms are adequate, if a bit small (we had a standard room with a private sit out onto the kitchen side). Hot water was plentiful in the morning Staff set up a lovely breakfast outside (complimentary) with white covered chairs and tables. Nice touch. Indian tali lunch was good, home style, sattvic food. Not lots of masala and garlic and such. Masala chai was good. Appears this place was built with top end materials originally and an eye to detail and the “resort “ feel. Granite and marble and wood in most places. Amenities, although not high end, were plentiful and necessary. Bed comfortable and supportive for tender backs. Cons: Most of the facility needs a thorough cleaning. The stairways to the roof (views of the mountain) were littered with small trash and water bottles here and there. Bathroom was very dirty — tile needs to be cleaned and scrubbed. Toilet made some loud rhythmic sound for 10 minutes after flushing. Sink was badly cracked and needed the faucet to be replaced as well. Bucket and mug was filthy and dangerously so (can give fungal infection) and so useable. Windows were filthy upon opening — haven’t been cleaned in years. Sheets looked crisp, but had grease spots or something on them — maybe laundry service is inadequate? Air conditioner, although working fine, was broken, missing the bottom half of the direction “vanes”. Staff is, although willing and extremely kind and decent, untrained in some cases. (In other cases, the staff was highly trained) Public bathrooms near restaurant were dirty. Prices are too high for this level of hygiene and Upkeep. This review, for all the criticisms, doesn’t mean we wouldn’t go back! The hospitality and setting would draw us back. But the mentioning of obvious deficits which would be easily remedied, is in hopes that this family run enterprise will rethink their business model and replace broken fixtures and hire proper cleaning people. Thank you all for the wonderful welcome, good food, and hospitality. Please forgive the harsh sounding tone of the “cons” section. It’s meant to be constructive. :)) …

We have been coming here with friends for a weeklong stay for many years now. Improve the facility like phone, wifi,etc.. The food was nice but very limited items only. The people are wonderful and very helpful, Mr. Saravanan are excellent in restaurant and some people doesn't know how to attend the guest.

One of the star hotel in Tiruvannamalai. Good restaurant to stay , very near to rama asharamam. Peacefull place to stay and outside swimming pool is good . Foods are good and quality is best . Little expensive.waiting time for food is minimum 30 mins

Upon arrival around lunch time, the room we were allocated was on the ground floor with a terrace that gave on the restaurant kitchen with a sorry view. The location of the room implied late night and early morning kitchen racket with loud cooks. Indeed ! Inside the room, the air condition making such a terrible noise, we opted for the squeaky fan. To our surprise, whereas the hotel looked very deserted actually, we were told at the reception there was no chance to change room. Service at the restaurant was desperately slow... and food cold or average. Since we had paid in advance a few months ahead of time – a mistake, if any - we had no choice but staying. Upon checking out, we were charged for room service that had already been paid. Disappointed, next time, we'll pass!

The hotel is very clean room and pleasant stay. Located on the highway towards Bangalore. Food in annam restaurant is tasty and excellent. Staffs are good and prompt. It is one of the Good Resort to stay temple town. Located just 3 klm away from Temple, Near to Ramana ashramam and girivalam path. Rooms are very clean and spacieous, very good facility and Front office staffs, house keeping staffs and service staffs are friendly and carrying. Good facility in Reception area furnished with good furniture and foot massage. Congrats to Manager having good staffs, and thanks to gave a pleasant stay for us.
