Thiruvannamalai being a pilgrim town, our expectations from the hotel were limited. However, Hotel Amoha was a pleasant surprise. Amoha is situated close to the temple (800mts) on a broad road. A car park is available in the basement and they provide a dormitory for drivers. The check-in process was quick and straightforward. Our 'Deluxe room" was on the 3rd floor. The room and bathroom were clean and well-fitted including a coffee maker and hair drier. The only items missing were the mini fridge and safety locker, which we seldom use. The view was OK. I am told the premium rooms offer a view of the temple tower and the hill. The complimentary buffet breakfast was sumptuous. We also had thali lunch and a la carte dinner. The service was very satisfactory and we would recommend Amoha to anyone visiting Thiruvannamalai. PS: The hotel is West facing. We enjoyed the view of the sunset from the hotel terrace (on the 4th floor) in the backdrop of the temple gopuram and the holy hill. The sunrise was nothing much to write home about on a cloudy day. …
Location is perfect, walkable to the temple, but away from the noisy, congested area too close to the temple. Ample parking, clean, spacious AC rooms, free Wi-Fi, complementary breakfast. It was just great.
I have stayed in this hotel on 16th July 2022 night in Room No. 201 and 203 (5 members). The rooms are super clean and excellent ambiance with hill and temple tower view, it was really awasome. The receptionist is so polite and helpful. People in the restaurant also provided excellent hospitality (only veg menu they provide). The have also provided complementory breakfast (south indian menu) and it was really super tasty and number of items were there. Overall it was a awasome experience for us! Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
Had a good experience, mainly due to the very kind people working at the hotel, right from the lobby, the security personnel, to the restaurant and house keeping members. They do everything possible to make your stay pleasant. Highly recommend this hotel, as they seem keen to further improve their services and hospitality. The rooms are spacious, clean and amenities are good.
