Exelent location for those who want to be near Arunachala mountain and Ramana Ashram. Exelent restaurant. Our group enjoyed the stay, specially the location. Very nice to have a supermarket right under the hotel. Very good ítens at the market.
Value for money. The manager Srinivas is very helpful and pleasant too. Even though some small things needed attention he was able to help us to a great extent. Restaurant is very good BF was timely and homely. The dinner menu is wide spread and from the aroma I could get that the taste. I had dinner one night and it was too good. Opp to Ramana ashram is a great advantage for a devotee of Lord Ramana like us. The Nilgiri super store down the hotel is an excellent addition to the basic needs. The house keeping staff should be trained to understand the customer need without the intervention of the Manager. Hope they will take care of that.
The place is quite close to Ramana maharishi ashram. Serves tasty vegetarian fare both south Indian and north Indian cuisine. Service is reasonably quick. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Ambiance is okay as well. Visited for dinner with friends. It is family friendly.
One of the best places for food. Great ambience and service. Very kind and caring staff. We can find food at a very reasonable price. Buffet weekends are reasonable too. Enjoyed great meals served here. Great service and staff!! Thank you!
I had the pleasure of staying at Aakash Inn during my most recent visit to the holy town of Tiruvannmalai. What I loved about this hotel was the fact that all the major ashrams - Ramana Ashram, Seshadri Ashram, and Yogi Ramsuratkumar Ashram as just a short walk away from this place. If one needs to go to the temple or over to the girivalam road, auto rickshaws are available in plenty near Aakash Inn. The restaurant serves a very tasty and varied complementary breakfast to its guests and the attitude of the staff, both in the restaurant and at the reception was really really courteous and helpful. Their service with a broad smile on their faces is truly a delight. Besides the proximity to the ashrams and a very taste spread of food available in their own restaurant, one has a nice little departmental store right below the property with a tattoo and mehendi artist if one has the time and inclination for it. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I thank the staff of Aakash Inn for making something of an emergency reservation for me and giving me a very pleasant stay and food experience. I definitely recommend this place. The only drawback was that the room felt a little too compact with the cot/bed being the only furniture to sit as well as sleep on....If the room was larger, there could have been a little sofa or a couple of chairs. Other than that, it was a nice experience staying at Aakash Inn.…
It is at a walking distance from Ramanasramam. Stay was comfortable. Whatever little issues we had were resolved by the Hotel Staff. Food in the restaurant is very good. However, TV programmes are in local language only.
This is my usually hotel whenever I visit Tiruvanamalai. This time I stayed for about 10 days with my wife. This hotel is strategically located near the 3 main ashrams, Ramana ashram, Sheshadri Swamigal ashram and Surat Kumar ashram. All are within walking distance. Breakfast is complimentary though the spread is limited.
I have been visiting Tiruvannamallai every month from last few years, I used to stay in arpana or aakash, but last few months I could see the service has become worst. I had booked two premium rooms and one of the room Geyser wasn't working and the room was stinking too. I don't prefer this hotel going forward. They have a kitchen in the ground floor which is again worst.
We stayed her for two nights. We were in Thiruvanamalai to visit Sri Ramanna Ashram and Arunachala Shiva Temple. This hotel is barely few minutes walk from the Ashram so was extremely convenient. Rooms are big, neat and clean. They have a vegetarian restaurant which serves good traditional South Indian food. Overall one of the best places to stay in Thiruvanamalai.
The best hotel nearby Sri Ramana Ashram. Rooms are well furnished and neat and clean . Staff requires good training but they do try . Food in restaurant is very good . Breakfast spread is quite sumptuous
