The best place in tiruvannamalai or perhaps anywhere I have been. Very happy with the place. Wish I had stayed longer this time but will come back soon. Its bang in the middle of some of the lost rustic real hamlets in tamilnadu amidst the paddy fields amongst others. Booked directly with the owners and had a very good experience and the room service there were very helpful, I have to commend babu who was our room boy. got food on time and available anytime. Food was good and reasonable priced. Inspite of the election campaigning in the hamlet couple 100 meters away and some construction nearby they ensured it doesnt disturb us. Would recommed this place for anyone who wants a real resort away from the world and take some time out in rustic environs with modern cottages.

I had a wonderful stay at the mountain retreat. The view on the Arunachala was breathtaking. It’s a very quiet and peaceful area and the pool was very refreshing. You need a Riksha to go to the Ramana Ashram or the Town. But it’s so worth to stay a bit outside. The staff was very nice and helpful. They helped me even to get some special books. :-) I‘ll come back to this wonderful place for sure!

wonderful rooms and beautiful place in thiruvannamalai really love that place.......large parking area, swimming pool, any time available food service, any time check in checkout facility, very silent area, Ro water also available....

Very good place for mind relax ... kids enjoyed a lot ..learnt swming here .. very peaceful area .. neatly maintained lawns .. guest service is good... Pattu samy has done well .. well maintained swimming pool .. chef Bagyaraj really done his role at your wish .. timing is amazing .. food taste is excellent.. feel like home .. service is excellent .. rooms are lovely spacious.. bamboo furniture looks nice and good too .. near to one of the girivalam point .. surrounded by agriculture field's.. season time not easy to get availability.. mostly booked by foreigners .. my special thanks to Mr Suresh who arranged this spot to stay for the last two years ..
