After a drive up to the volcano, we stopped here and enjoyed lunch on the way back down. Costa Rica cuisine. The restaurant was not busy (late lunch) and the service was friendly and quick. The food was good.

We arrive there in the late afternoon and was pleasantly greeted by the receptionist, Elizabeth. We have no reservations but were able to get into a room for the night. Elizabeth went above and beyond her job duties to help us sort out a different location we had rented. She even called booking.com and we were able to have the...

Very basic motel. Clean with friendly staff. Restaurant is good and breakfast is included. Lovely location near volcano and Waterfall Gardens. Room was not well-insulated -- and given the elevation it got quite cold during the night. Loud trucks going by all night as well.

I checked in at 5:00 in the afternoon on a cloudy day that guaranteed the Poas crater would not be seen. This hotel is very affordable. I stayed on the second floor where there is no heat but a heater was provided that was more than adequate. The room was clean and beautifully done with wood paneling. The staff behind...

My partner and I stopped here on our way to La Paz. As soon as we stepped out of the car, we could smell delicious food in the air and knew we were in for a treat! The staff were lovely and welcoming, serving us drinks within moments. We ordered two different steaks which arrived quickly and cooked to perfection....

All was going well... clean rooms, good price etc until on our second night when it was freezing cold, the cleaning staff took the space heater from our room while we were out for the day claiming that we "used it too much" and refused to put it back in the room. We spent all day out of the hotel...

It is a pretty cool place with privacy in the rooms. The fire place in the bungalow is very nice. The restaurant is good and food has a very good price. The average is like 22 dollars. They have a very covenient parking and honestly hot water.

Comfortable, cozy rooms with a most welcome heater on a rainy, damp day. Super comfy bed and nice linens with a bonus from a thick and cuddly giant-size throw as well. We were drenched from touring the local waterfall and the heater came in so handy to warm us and dry our clothes. Great pressure in the shower with really...
