I must agree with most of the points written in the previous review. I did stay here for one day. It is a time share property and the rooms are well built and nicely appointed. No views. No beach.stinky lagoon . Great pool. Did not experience bugs. Food .. not so great. Nice place to hang for a few hours,...

As a fellow Canadian I am concerned that you didn't ask why the mangroves smelled badly that day before writing on Trip Adviser. The lagoon is as fresh as the open ocean, one look at the pictures proves that. It doesn't take much of a storm to have the waves coming over the sea wall! What you saw was seaweed....

Parrot Tree Plantation is a beautiful resort located on 200 acres of lush tropical vegetation. If you are looking for a large multi-story resort with a huge pool with a lazy river, many restaurants and shops and close to all the "action", this is not the place for you. But if you like the small, relaxed, boutique resort (48 units)...

This was absolute the perfect place for us. It was quiet, we were close to the beach and access to a pool, the staff was wonderful and very helpful. the beach was clean even though there was a lot of seaweed around. there's space that you and your loved one can be together on the beach with noise and intrusion...

Did not enjoy Parrot Tree this trip. Prices for food and drinks were outrageous. My girls wanted to rent Kiaks but the shop didn't open for some reason so they didn't get to rent anything. When we asked the waiter why the shop wasn't open he stated "I guess he got drunk last night so he decided not to open...

I must apologize for the waiters attempt at humor, Clearly it was in poor taste.Every once in a while when a company is developing a serving staff who are fun and engaging and eager to please a miss-step like this can occur and please accept our sincerest apologies for your Monday visit.. I just love my trip to Roatan, can't wait to go again! The hotel was very clean with all the amenities, lobby doesn't look very good needs improvement but who cares about the lobby right! Our stay there was magnificent, food was great! Love the restaurant on the beach with live music and more!

It took me a while to write this review. I really had to think about what I would say. This hotel and property has so much potential it is sad to see that they have let it run down so badly. This property is in dire need of some TLC, and we were told that it was coming, however I...

Thank you for the detailed review and if the whole truth were told you are fundamentally accurate about a few things and I want to clear up the ones that may be just slightly out of alignment. First of all, the property started construction in 1999 so it is now 16 summers in the salt spray of the Trade Winds....

Beautiful lagoon with beach beds. It seemed vacant of tourists. Menu looked reasonably priced even though it was in a resort. Bugs and mosquitoes were there but saw them spraying for them. Lots of mangroves around the resort so mosquitoes have a nice habitat too. Nice place to visit a protected beach and order a tropical beverage. The resort itself...

Met some friends for lunch at the restaurant on the beach. It was a quiet day, not many people there. Loved the beautiful view and the incredible landscaping on the drive in from the guard gate. I found the service was slow though, and the food was not very hot, (I had a fish sandwich, and the fish was on...

The snorkeling is fantastic. The grounds very well kept. The lagoon is great for smaller kids to snorkel. The ocean snorkeling is unbelievable. Condos very well maintained. There are A LOT of bugs, so bring bug spray. But otherwise, what a great time.

Snorkeling and scuba diving. We spent an afternoon here so I can't really speak about all the amenities. We snorkeled and had some food and drink. Nice place and out of the way. About 20 minutes from Coxen Hole. Snorkeling was limited to one location withing the resort providing you wanted to something other than the protected lagoon there.
