Peter and Fernanda did a great job building a place that keeps the balance between nature and comfort. Their hostel offers a lot of space to chill out, a very good breakfast and comfortable rooms. After a couple of weeks of traveling, this is where I found the most refreshing night's sleep. Would totally recommend.

Abaquar Hostel is an amazing place to stay in Boipepa. The hostel owners, Peter and Fernanda, are very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the island. The hostel had a great atmosphere with lots of interesting people. Each morning I walked downstairs and enjoyed an amazing breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, coffee, bread, eggs and jam. It was a great way...

The breakfast is the best one I have ever had at a hostel, with banana pancakes, fresh juices, yoghurt, fresh fruits etc... The atmosphere is very relaxed and chill, with Peter serving some really good caiprinhas with lime fruits picked direcly from the garden....

Abaquar Hostel sums up this beaut little island - relaxing, quiet and welcoming. Its located a few minutes from the main square and from there its a good walk to the 'best' beaches. Its not right in town, so its much more quieter than usual. The hostel is well set out. There is a few dorm rooms and private rooms....

If you come to Boipeba, chances are you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place because that's what Boipeba is known for. Abaquar is exactly that : on the edge of the (small) main village of the island, surrounded by trees and mangrove. Decorated with style (not your typical cheap-flashy hostel), nice garden, good breakfast, very clean rooms with...

From the beginning we felt welcome and comfortable in this beautiful hostel. Fernanda and Peter are very nice people and always there to help. After 7 months traveling we felt at home, relaxing in the wonderful, big garden, playing with their cute dog and enjoying the time with other travelers. Often everybody cooked together and ate in the big common...
