We just returned from a 5 night stay at Palazzo Radomiri to celebrate our anniversary, and am so happy we chose to stay there. It is a beautifully restored stone building, situated in a truly spectacular setting on the bay. While there are other options to stay along the bay, I am glad I went with my gut to stay here because combined with the beauty of the place and location, I don't think we would have found the level of service or personalisation anywhere else. They were incredibly helpful to us as well when our airline cancelled our return flight shortly before we were due to check out, which again made us feel fortunate to have stayed here!

The owner, Anna, and all of the lovely and friendly staff went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable, unique, and memorable. A big highlight of the entire trip was a special meal arranged by Anna for us, as the hotel restaurant was closed at the time of our visit, and it was simply amazing. There is also a bar on site, so you can have drinks out of the jetty or terrace overlooking the bay. Breakfast included fresh pastries, as well as some made to order options (including vegan options). Kayaks, bikes, and paddle boards can be rented, so you can make the most of seeing the bay and environs, and the bikes made it easy and quick to get into Kotor. The jetty is directly across the small street from the hotel, and along with sun loungers and big umbrellas, has access into the bay for swimming.

We stayed in the Armellino room, which has a living room overlooking the bay, and a separate bedroom facing the pool area. It was spacious, quiet, and comfortable during our stay, and it was nice having the separation of the two spaces for hanging out and sleeping. The room has an electric kettle, coffee, tea, water, etc, and there is also a/c and a standing fan for when it's hot.

All in all, we relaxed to the max and had a wonderful time. It really was a dream holiday, and Palazzo Radomiri was a big part of that! We can't wait to return!

A wonder find . This hotel is one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed . The staff are excellent, rooms spotless , fantastic facilities. Bikes to hire , paddle boards etc . Sunbathing on the jetty & a lovely pool .
The views are to die for .
We had bed & breakfast which was cooked to order and plenty of fresh fruit , tea and coffee .
A well stocked bar for delicious cocktails and very reasonably priced .
Each bedroom is unique and furnished to a very high standard.
Kotor old town is 10 mins in a taxi and easily walked along the costal path .
I cannot recommend this boutique highly enough .
A wonderful stay and I will defo the back .
Thank you Anna and your team

We received a super welcome upon our arrival to this very stylish hotel situated 3km from the old town of Kotor. (30/40mins lovely scenic walk along the front) Receiving a room upgrade to celebrate a birthday was a lovely touch and the ‘Gloriosa’ room had an unbeatable view of the Bay of Kotor. Wouldn’t be out of place for a scene in a Bond movie and I don’t think you would get Drew Pritchard (salvage hunters) out of that room unless you sold him something.
Anna and her team went above and beyond for anything that was needed, fantastic throughout, full of recommendations.
We had access via the hotel’s private jetty that was well used for swimming, sunning and the hotels provision of paddle boards (5€ ph) and swimming towels (and of course the cocktails) was very welcome.
Would recommend that a leash for the paddle boards would be a great addition for guests taking to the water due to the wake from boats and unexpected winds.
A breakfast of fresh fruits, pastries & omelettes was enjoyed in the hotel’s attractive terrace area and could only be improved with a jug of water on the table.
This boutique hotel oozes class throughout, perfect for weekend getaways, trips away with friends or family, would be a perfect setting for a wedding also.
Would recommend getting in touch direct to see what rooms and deals are on offer
Thanks guys, look forward to getting back out there one day.

We booked the hotel for two nights for us and friends for May 2020 and paid the full amount due. Due to the Covid pandemic we were sadly not able to travel to the hotel. The hotel offered us an extra night if we don’t request repayment but keep our booking for a later travel date. We knew we would only be able to travel to the hotel in 2022. The hotel assured us, this would be no problem. They requested us though to set fantasy travel dates as their booking system can only book up to 6 months in future. They again assured us, this would be no problem, we can set a fantasy date and they would write to us shortly before the date to move the booking 6 months in advance again. So this we did, fully trusting the staff. This September the hotel contacted me and told me our booking has been canceled as they were not willing to move the booking anymore. They had changed our due to covid refundable rate to non-refundable and would not make a repayment. We felt fully fooled by the hotel and mistreated to their benefit. We understand that Covid has been economically a hard time, especially for hotels. This was the reason we kept the booking instead for requesting the money back. Unfortunately, this was a big mistake, the hotel and owner cannot be trusted. we have lost payment for two room at each two nights, which is hard for us. Our warning to all travelers, don’t trust this hotel. Be careful and don’t let them fool you out of your hard-earned holiday!

Response from Palazzo Radomiri, Owner at Palazzo Radomiri Hotel
Responded Feb 2, 2022
Dear Kathleen, Thank you for taking time to write your view of what has happened. We are really sorry for the whole misunderstanding, but you have omitted few important facts. Firstly your reservation ended with a NO-SHOW as you haven't notified us that you are not coming on the last reserved dates and consequently you haven't showed up. You have made an initial non-refundable reservation on 20 January 2020. When Pandemic started we have agreed to change your dates free of charge as many times as you have requested, including an extra night gratis up until the end of season 2021! It is all documented on booking.com. During 2020 and 2021 we have changed dates for your 2 nights stay at least 3 times. Last reservation was for 29 September 2021, we have sent you a reminder e-mail 3 days before your arrival to which you have never replied and simply haven't showed-up. Reservation was marked as a NO-SHOW. It is a policy of most hotels of the world to charge for a NO-SHOW regardless of refundable or non-refundable status of reservation. You have never mentioned your desire to change your stay to 2022 during our prior communication. You have started mentioning it only when you have realized that you have forgotten all about your reservation that was booked for 29 September 2021. It was the only few months that we have worked in 2 years and it was essential for us to fill all available rooms in order to survive financially the whole pandemic situation. If we knew that you are not coming, we could've sold the rooms to someone else, as you haven't even bothered to notify us even after a reminder, we have assumed you are coming. A no- show fees are intended to protect hotels from loosing a revenue. We are very sorry again for what has happened, we have tried our best during this situation to manage our guests' reservations the best we could. We also understand your desire to fault us. We are sincerely grateful for our experience and wish you all the best in your future.

Stayed at the palazzo with friends for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer: Anna and her team are so friendly and caring (even went and bought more Aperol for us as think we drank all of theirs). The hotel is just perfect, quiet and very tastefully decorated. All rooms are beautiful . The A/C is amazing and very much needed as was in the mid 30's. The hotel faces the stunning bay and bedrooms therefore have stunning views. Breakfast is outside and delicious. There are also plenty of places to eat and drink on either side of the hotel that do lovely food and all very reasonably priced. Use the local cabs as again very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going again. Kotor is beautiful and so is the old town. Enjoy ❤️

A stunning property, with all the facilities one could want to enjoy a vacation to Montenegro. Ideally located for those adventurers who want to easily reach top destinations in country and to neighboring Croatia. The rooms are designed in unique ways to give guests a sense of being in luxurious home away from home. Staff are extremely competent and owners ensure all aspects of your stay are covered and comfortable as well as their guests safety and health are paramount.

Great for walks, ideal for couples and families, cultural adventurers, and those who appreciate delicious food.

A stay in a complete different part of the world reminded me of a summer I have spent in Croatia and Montenegro. Where I am staying now could be actually a museum and reminded me a little bit of Palazzo Radomiri. It is also a heritage property, it also went through the earthquake. Not as grand or as big, but a small treasure box indeed. Palazzo hotel is quite small and there is a lot of stairs and stone walls around. The mountain that is behind almost drops into the sea in front of the hotel, making the building of the hotel a nesting spot in between. It is not exactly carved into the mountain, but since it is surrounded with mountains it seems a part of the nature. This is why I love staying in historical places and old palaces like these, because nothing seems out of the proportion with the nature. Their whole story is beautiful.
I have met Anna, the owner who designed the whole place with her father and we had a lovely chat on few occasions. You can feel her personal passion and energy radiating from the walls of the hotel. She also teaches yoga every morning. Another reason I have chosen this hotel. Yoga is free for the guests and it is a very good flow! I didn't miss a morning!
Another thing I appreciated was that she is trying to be as eco friendly as possible. They’ve stopped using plastic, there is filter water in the room, they use solar panels, etc.
Location of the hotel is spot on, quite secluded from tourists, but still close to visit Kotor daily. We have also visited Perast, which is equally a magical little town, but I have found it too touristy. Like a small museum that allowed people to have a sleep over. I would love to come back to Palazzo one day and feel the magic of that place again!

My family and I stayed at the Palazzo Radomiri for 9 days in July. We all fell in love with Montenegro, largely because of our stay at this beautiful hotel! The views from the jetty are stunning, the hotel is charming ( I couldn't stop taking photos), and Anna and the staff were all so accommodating and friendly. My kids (ages 7 and 9) swam in the pool and used the hotel's paddle board and kayak every day. The sunset paddles were idyllic! We requested a seafood dinner on the jetty one evening and it was delicious. The setting was so gorgeous and the night was not only one of the highlights of our trip, but one of the highlights of our LIFE. So, so, beautiful. We are all looking forward to coming back to the Palazzo Radomiri again!

Cozy and stylish, a few steps away from the sea.
We have stayed in the hotel for a week and had most of our meals in their restaurant. During the day it was in the garden, but in the evening they would put few tables on the jetty, just by the water. Restaurant is mainly for hotel guests, so it is perfect for people who just want delicious food and serene surrounding. We were grateful they don’t get many outside guests, so it was never busy, we could actually have quiet conversations without having to shout across the table and the most extraordinary surrounding!
Highly recocmened.

how far is the hotel from Kotor old town?
Answer from Ran_Mad
New York City, New York105 contributions78 helpful votes
Indeed, the hotel is about 4 km from Kotor Old City from what I recollect and taxi is an easy ride. I would however add that the parking is not as much of a mess. I parked three or four times at the lot just adjacent to the city walls. On one occasion the lot was full but the queue took but a minute as there are always people leaving the lot too.
