My fiancée and I just finished a weekend stay at this hotel. They have 8 rooms, all decorated differently. We stayed in 'Log' , which appears to have one of the better interior designs, with great views from the bedroom window. The bed is extremely comfortable. There was a great selection of TV channels. The bathroom is modern. The shower...

We've been there at the end of September. A cozy hotel and beautiful weather outside. This modern hotel is a must try in this area. Welcoming staff and helpful, good service. Their food was of a good quality. Breakfast was limited choices but it was enough as we were two people. The hotel was clean and decoration inside the room...

Very nice and small hotel right at the main roundabout in Faqra. We stayed one night in September and it was a very pleasant stay. The Hotel is very cosy, clean and very friendly staff. Rooms are nicely decorated and spacious bathrooms. Breakfast was good and tasty. It definitely is a very nice place to stay in during winter season....

We stayed here in January during a severe blizzard, and had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff were professional and nice, the room was stunning and it was an entirely pleasant experience. I have read some of the other reviews, and I take the point that it is not cheap and that it can be noisy, but I would respond...

We went with our friends to Urban as we have tried it two years back. Unfortunately the experience was too bad... The music was too loud as we cant hear each other... As if we are in a club... Waiters are not aware of the menu... We tried to order chicken filet , steak or salmon, each time the waiter...

I cannot say enough about how awesome our time was at UF. From the moment we got to the hotel to the time we left, we were met with unparalleled service, fantastic food (the Italian restaurant is awesome), and adorable hipster accents decorating the entire hotel. This is a gem of a boutique hotel - clean, unique, and utterly charming....

The hotel is just off Fakra roundabout in a calm area; The entrance is to be well defined as you get a bit confused once on the grounds.. The room we stayed in was nice & clean; Mattress & pillows very comfortable; The interiors were a bit kitsch with too many artifacts; however, rooms are cozy although much smaller than...

The hotel is clean. Restaurant food is very good. However, regardless of what you read about this hotel from other reviewers and from the hotel ads, this hotel is definitely not made for relaxation. The extremely loud music keeps running till late evenings although we were in the highest floor and farthest room. And there is no way to ignore...

We stayed at Urban Faqra in August 2013. We were attending a relative's wedding in Faraya, and after reviewing the hotels in the area, we selected Urban Faqra which had better reviews than other neighboring hotels inclusing a 5 star one. The location of the hotel is perfect, especially if you want some peace. The rooms were nicely and uniquely...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There’s nothing like a hearty dinner and a glass of red wine after a long, tiring day on the slopes. Be it a cool summer’s day or a blisteringly cold winter’s night, every meal in Faqra requires an element of coziness and warmth. For that, there’s Urban. This new restaurant bar defines the Faqra experience; rugged yet refined, casual and homey yet purposefully elegant, Urban is a welcome contradiction. Ironically enough, it offers a quiet retreat from hectic city life with good food, a wonderful view, and small town hospitality.Urban is the latest brainchild in the ever-growing Addmind family, the mother company behind White, Iris, and MAD. Built on rocky terrain and far away from the chaos of the city, it is the place to casually wind down after skiing, indulge in a warm meal, and enjoy a restful night’s sleep. ... more   less
