Set on a beautiful bay with good walks all around. Home cooked meals are very good and they will cater for special dietary needs, even at very short notice. Rooms are simple but comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. Great amenities too.

The Trek South Africa team passed through here on our Wild Coat Meander, It was so great finishing a long day of hiking to come in and grab a toasted sandwich at the upstairs bar then a cold beer later in the night. The views from the upstairs bar are amazing, I wish we'd had more time to chill here...

If you need a break from the hurly burly of every day life, Mazeppa Bay Hotel is the place to go. The tranqulity of the setting and the sound of the sea soothes away stress. The rooms are rustic but very clean and comfortable. The meals are simple and well-prepared. On Saturday evenings the delicious seafood buffet is served. The...

This was our second stop on the Wild Coast Meander (a highly recommendable hike with stays at 5 hotels and porters to carry your overnight bags) and it was very enjoyable. It would have been nice to spend an extra day there with all the activities on offer - it has a tennis court, trampoline, volleyball net, and gorgeous pool...

We stayed for one night and had a very good experience. The hotel is on a beautiful bay with a fantastic beach. Saw many whales from the shore. The rooms are clean and functional. Good hotel option for hiking group.

We went to Mazeppa for my Daughters wedding. Upon arriving, well, I cant really say we had a WARM welcome at all...after such an exhausting trip all the way from CT Intl to Durban and then driving for 3 hours on a rather taxing road. We were shown to the room, which was quite a fright - peeping first into...

Thank you for your review, while taking all reviews seriously, and chatting amongst ourselves to see where we went wrong, and how to improve, we don't make a habit of answering these reviews with a he said she said. I do need to point out a few things: The complimentary tea and coffee is placed in your room, should you...

I stayed over for one night recently while working nearby and found the rooms adequate, clean and comfortable. There is a kettle in the room with tea, coffee and rusks. The rooms have minimal decorations and do not have a TV but include a bench and a small porch with a table and chairs out front. Some rooms have views...

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at Mazeppa. It was really busy, but the staff were always friendly and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make our five year old grandson feel special on his birthday. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there were activities organized, but who needs organized activities with all that beauty...
