When I booked through the Information Centre, I did not realize how far out of the centre it was. One has to have their own transport . From the bus stop there is some distance to walk. I found the personal very helpful , the linen spotless, the shower hot. tea / coffee facilities Although it said on the information...

We stayed here for 2 nights while enjoying a long weekend in Canberra and to be honest the Ibis Budget is just a comfortable place to flop for the night. Basic amenities, basic room but with a in room TV, fridge, air conditioner & tea/coffee facilities. The only additional things supplied here are bed sheets, pillows, blanket, towels and guest...

The rooms are small but the management team was great, made my stay very enjoyable. They seem to be new management, and I heard from other guests that they were a vast improvement on the old management;] Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast is only basic but saves you having to go out and get food in the morning. No...

I know it's a budget hotel but seriously it was that bad that we ended up spending the night elsewhere. Complete waste of money, small room, the TV on the wall was fixed and small, the bathroom had a step to get into which looked like a portable toilet. Just horrible, Iv stayed at the Ibis Budget before and it...

Unfortunately this was a last minute booking as there was nothing left in Canberra, I've been in budget ibis hotels and this was the worst and most uncomfortable nights sleep I've experienced, the shoe box sized room with the old window air con that sounded like a lawn mower all night, plus the ridiculous shower with no proper step or...

the room was expensive given the fact that it is a 'budget' hotel. the bathroom was more like an airline sized toilet! it was just like okay nothing great about it. i would rather spend an extra few bucks when a much better place is available around the same price. not coming back here.

Our 1-night stay here was to help break up a longer trip and booked on line on the day pretty much based on price. We paid $99 and so wasn't too surprised (or maybe we were) I guess when there was a bunk bed running over the top of the double bed and an enclosed plastic bathroom with toilet and...

It's now way overpriced. Was once really good value but all of the Ibis Budget places are not so now. Accor really didn't reduce their rates at all for this season, even though far, far superior establishments much closer to the city, were offering crazy Christmas time reductions which brought them within a smidgin of Ibis Budget. There was a...

At times of major events the price of hotels in the city becomes extreme. If you only need a place to sleep and have a shower than this place is suitable. The rooms are small and the bathroom is more like a pod, however on the night I was in town it was significantly cheaper than alternatives. City is easily...

My family and I recently had a bad experience at this hotel, which was more like a hostel, but $129 per room per night. When we arrived, we saw that the rooms were smaller and much dirtier than in the online photos, with dead bugs on the walls and stains on the floor and furniture. The room also did not...
