Having just left the hotel (no late check out available)?? Would say this apartment hotel had everything you need for a central stay in Canberra City Centre. Downside, the decor is tired, the mattresses in our room badly needed replaced and we had to hike up to the 8th floor with our cases as the lift only goes to the...

We stayed for three nights in a one bedroom apartment located on the first floor. The first floor foyer and our apartment had a dreadful smell which wafted up from the café downstairs. Definitely the smallest one bedroom apartment we have ever stayed in. The accommodation is in desperate need of a renovation. Entry and exit to the basement parking...

On arrival the young lady on reception wasn't friendly. When we got to our room we found the air conditioner didn't work. We were told it would be fixed when we came back, but was still the same. Another young lady (Brooke) was on reception by this time and came up with us to have a look. She very promptly...

We stayed at this accommodation for 3 days during our recent trip to Canberra. The room was comfortable but very hot on arrival ( 35 degree day ) as the windows were all closed up, airconditioning off and the hotplate on the stove left on after previous cleaning - luckily nothing happened to the room. Our one request would be...

Trying to get a hotel in Canberra the same week as a major car event proved difficult. However, after much searching we booked the Waldorf. There are usually two reasons why accommodations are available at peak time - they are either quite expensive or not very good. The Waldorf fits mostly into the 'not very good' category and on a...

Well, the room and hotel looked old and "tired". There was hardly any efforts to modernize it. Room was moderately clean. Location was great and parking availability was adequate. There were so many intimidating notes in the room warning us that we would be charged if something was broken or gone missing. Good thing was it's relatively cheap for a...

We stayed there with our grandson and had requested accommodation for 3 people; we were told the apartment had a sofa bed in the living area but when open that took over most of the small living area we had. Because of its downtown location, parking costs $15 per night. The staff were friendly but the building is due for...

We stayed there with our grandchild and had requested accomodation for 3 people; we were told the apartment had a sofa bed in the living area but when we tried to open it; it was only a sofa. After complaining, the reception lady who had no idea because 'these were new sofas' produced a very uncomfortable trundle bed that took...

We have stayed at many places in Canberra. Waldorf is comfortable and well located. It is looking tired and needs some updating. Car park is very tight and quite limited in spaces. Staff were very friendly and willing to help. Super fast checkout.
