I have been surfing for a few years and did not find the 7 day surf camp to be suitable for someone with my experience. Mojosurf explained to me in advance of my trip that experienced surfers and beginners would be in separate classes and so each group would be able to improve their level. This is exactly what I...

I was at mojo for 3 nights and loved it. The rooms were a choice of tp's or little huts, I was in a hut. There were 4 beds in the room, a bathroom and a kitchen sink, the whole place was very comfortable. On our first morning we were shown round the camp and an hour or so later...

Spot X is a great place to be. It's very vibrant and allows you to do what everybody should be doing on the east coast - surfing and enjoying themselves! The staff are very friendly and will help at any opportunity. Accommodation is clean and regularly maintained. Arrawarra beach itself is a hidden gem. The surf camp overlooks this amazing stretch...

Hands down my favourite place I have experienced. Staying literally 20 seconds from the beach and waking up to the sound of crashing waves and more often than not a local pod of dolphins doing their rounds! Had the best time of all my East Coast travels at Spot X. Met some friends for life, ate good food (and plenty...

What an incredible place. Literally a hop skip and a jump from the beach (and what a beautiful clean beach it is!), excellent surf instruction - they've all grown up in the water. It's in the middle of nowhere which in my opinion is ideal. far away from the bright lights of the city and the rat race. a really...

Awesome vibe on this place. Unfortunatley a very big group who arrived at once (40p). They advertised a 6h trip from Sydney but it ended up with 9-11h. Good food & nice people. Alot of party if you're into that. Lessons ok, but could been better. Extra costs may come. Suits people around 18-23y!

Spot X is definitely going to be my new go-to destination for little domestic getaways. There were about 100 or so people staying at the camp, which is located essentially right on on the sand. Mostly German, Swedish and British backpackers - me and my travel agent buddy were the only Aussies. Would highly recommend taking out the extras which...

I stayed at Spot X in September because I wanted to learn to surf and I definitely learnt enough and have since bought my own board. They teach you about Surf Etiquette and recognising conditions and rips, they will also get you standing up by the end of your first lesson. The staff were friendly and helpful and would get...
