The Sanctuary Resort is a good choice for a one or two nights stop-over, cutting the long road trip between Sydney and Noosa. We got a superior room, very vast and well appointed with a king-sized bed and a 42 inch tv. My only criticism is the noisy, antiquated a/c unit which sounds like a plane taking-off! There's also a... More

Stayed here while at a conference. Unfortunately there was a World Rally event on at the same time - stay away from Coffs Harbour if this event is on again and you are not a petrol head! Sanctuary Resort Motor Inn is a 7 minute drive or a good 30min walk, out of the CBD. Pros: Clean, quiet, big rooms,... More

Stayed here one night for a stop over and it was quite nice, we got a king deluxe room which website said was newly refurbished. We were pleasantly surprised after reading some previous reviews, the room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable, a full king bed, not two beds pushed together like I have experienced in other hotels. Bathroom... More

We had a pleasant upstairs room which was well presented and equipped. We enjoyed a tasty dinner and breakfasts on two mornings. The motel was quiet and comfortable and in a convenient location. We had stayed in the next door motel before and found it noisy but this location was quiet with a friendly Kookaburra

The motel was ok, the room was large. It was quite busy when we stayed there and were told that if we wanted to dine in the restaurant we would have to wait till 7.30pm, a bit late when you have a hungry 7 year old. The motel is located near the main road which is quite handy.

Stayed here som 30 years ago when my kids were, well kids. Other than a minor renovation some time ago, I could have been in the same era. Still did get a relatively cheap deal which include a $20 voucher at the restaurant which wasnt open because the chef had unexpectedly quit. Used the voucher at breakfast however. Would I... More

Never ever waist your time and money as after falling for the con job Name sanctuary resort. This is neither a sanctuary nor a resort. As I sat on my beautiful balcony looking around my sanctuary with the cool breeze blowing the stench of the skip bins 5 metres from my face. I decided to go inside to the 70's... More

Wished we had not booked this place as clearly clever photography hid the mismatched, weary, worn and somewhat in need of repair furniture. Flickering fluro lights gave the kids an unexpected light show, the drawer knob fell off when attempting to open the drawer. Uncomfortable beds and continuous traffic noise throughout the night from the busy highway did not help... More

We have driven passed the Entrance to this Motel for many years on our way up the coast. I booked this Motel on price as we were driving through on our way to Brisbane. What a wonderful surprise. Lovely facilities with beautiful pool, tennis court etc. Rooms were dated but very clean. We had our pushbike and found the Motel... More

What a lovely relaxing setting, perfect for the overnight stay. Enjoy room 21, upstairs yet very spacious with balcony. 70's motel with warmth & friendliness of staff. Great being able to go to Restaurant rather than out for takeaway. Beautiful meals, rack of lamb was superb, very well presented. Wonderful nights sleep in a good bed. Would stay another night if...
