Just left the Hoey Moey after a week there, Coffs Harbour is a lovely pace to explore with lots to do! The Hoey is situated right on the beach which pretty much becomes your own private getaway! This place is mainly a working hostel so if you want to work get your 88 days done and make some friends along...

I arrived in September 2015 to do my farm work. I arrived on a Monday, and started work straight away the following day, arranged for me by the hostel. It is literally 2 steps from the hostel to the beach, and in the other direction 2 steps and you're straight in to the bar. Live music is on most of...

Came here last minute, staff were really friendly and happy to put us in a room straight away! The room was clean and had a telly in it which was a bonus as we had no one staying in the room with us so we could watch anything we wanted! We used our base jumping passes so not sure on...

I came here in June to do farm work. We were told that there was work but we didn't get farm work for 6 weeks. We contemplated moving on somewhere else but decided to stick it out in the hope that we would get work soon. The hostel was very quiet when we first arrived, but got very busy around...

The location doesn't feel safe at night, and its next to a noisy bottle shop. The staff are rude and wouldn't let us us the Kitchen. We just wanted to have some noodles in the morning. Wouldn't not recommend.

A group of friends and I booked into a 4 bed room with en suite at the Hoey Moey on our way to Falls Festival at the end of last year The room was basic, but reasonably comfortable - not worth $280 a night for what it was. The room also didn't have adequate lighting even though it had about...

Luckily I only stayed at this hostel for 2 nights... Two nights too long. First I waited 20minutes at the bus stop to be picked up even though it's only a 5 minute drive. Once I arrived there was no room in my dorm to put by bag, when the door was closed it had to go there which is...

I stayed last night at this place and I highly recommend against staying here. Rooms didn't have fly screens and filled with mozzies, woken up very early by renovations. Staff were rude and actually charged us for more rooms than we used. Don't stay here. Beware!
