We stayed here for 5 nights in a. 2 bedrooms apartment. We liked it very much, it was clean, spacious and close to the center of Sydney. There are lots of restaurants close by and also a supermarket. The only drawback was that there is no free WiFi. The staff was very friendly and gave a lot of information.

Everything about this hotel is plain to the point of being boring. It feels more like an old school motel. Elevators are so noisy you can hear them (like a train in the distance) no matter how far away your room is. The only real benefit is the mini-kitchen in the room and the fact there is a great Asian... More

Dear valued guest, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am disappointed to know that we were unable to meet your expectations. $15/ person is a very competitive price for a full buffet breakfast we offer at the Capital square hotel. We are planning a refurb of the property next year and we hope to get another opportunity... More

Very good location, within walking distance to most things. Close to capitol theatre. Good food in adjacent chinatown. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Very noisy at night. Could hear street noise and any noise in hallway.

We wish we requested a room on a higher floor and away from the elevator, we were kept up quite late on Friday and Saturday night from all the noise outside of the hotel and people going in and out of the elevator. We also had a bathroom with poorly designed shower that resulted in leaking water all over the... More

We really enjoyed staying at BreakFree on George. The room sizes were wonderful - we had the ensuite and the bathroom apartment ... so not a thing to complain about. So close to Paddy's Markets and Central, and really good that the Tram stops not far away and one can get it very quickly to Central Station. I give it... More

Provided me with excellent service. All the attendants were accommodating and courteous. They gave me a map and explained how to navigate the whole of Sydney. Marry, receptionist, had been so kind and hospitable.

The first choice I would look into for my stay in Sydney as the location it's really convenient and the pricing it's reasonable for a stay in the city. Staffs are friendly too. It's always been a great stay with Breakfree.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighbourhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theatre, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
