First stay at Sofitel Darling Harbour. We had harbour view from room which was AMAZING.! Fast check in and express check out. Room service was inconsistent, no milk in fridge,no tea or sugar refill, bathroom refills were inconsistent aswell. We had to call house cleaning to get room cleaned, we were out all day so that was disappointing. Something you expect with a 5 star hotel. In room service I.e food was good. Fair portion. Taste good. Staff are all lovely always say "bonjour" Our room for a week was somewhat small. I did expect to get a room with a bath tub but only with rain shower.

Overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was nice with a lovely view. We spent a few hours by the pool & found that half the sun beds were just hard wood without a mattress which we thought was not very well kept for a nice hotel. It was school holidays & was full of children everywhere. The pool was very cold with no heating at all which was also a little surprising. The champagne bar was lovely & Nicholas looked after us very well with his friendly manner mixed with professionalism.

Good hotel. Modern rooms with nice views of the city. The outdoor swimming pool is kept too cold to swim for more than a few minutes, so no good if you have young kids. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Amazing experience! Everything was wow. Staff is highly professional and friendly. The room was spacious, cozy, with high quality furnitures. Mattress and pillows were perfect. The attention given to our baby girl has been appreciated and we thank you again for this. We will definitely come back.
