Stayed here twice. Very tight rooms but a comfortable place to crash on a business trip. Close to Wynyard via the new Wynyard walk tunnel. Next door to Barangaroo and the huge range of King St wharf restaurants. Rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy.

I stayed at the IBIS for one night for work and the room was generally clean until I discovered the remains of a dead bug on the iron. For $208 per night, they should provide shower gels instead of soap bars and body lotions. Otherwise room was ok for a one night stay and if you don't spend any time...

Thank you Beyonce1 for your suggestions from your recent visit. I apologise for your experience with the iron - this is certainly not our normal standard of cleanliness and I will discuss this with our Housekeeping Supervisor today. Kind regards Victoria Deak

Very high price for that sort of room with very poor air conditioning. When we complained about air con we were told that maintainance staff don't work on weekends. Below average breakfast. Other hotels provide very good rooms for that price.

Front desk were helpful, but the rooms are very small, with warnings if you have a shower with the door open you may set off the smoke alarm. I've stayed in hotels worldwide and never seen this type of warning before. Room service is available - limited menu, but service was quick and meals were satisfying. Minimal noise from outside,...

Stayed here one night. Room was basic but had all you would expect. My room faced west and sun had heated the room. Air conditioner took four hours to make the room comforfable. The bathroom looked more like a modular arrangement with fhe shower cubicle that small I felt closed in. The hall and lift lacked air conditioning and was...

And with an Ibis, you know pretty clearly what you will get before you arrive. Compact room, though everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The room was about the same size as the cabin we had on the ship for two weeks. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to Darling Harbour, 10 minutes to train. Breakfast...

My husband and I stayed here for one night before flying home. The location is very close to darling harbour and the shops and restaurants near by. There is also a 24 hour convenience store across the road and a taxi rank directly opposite the hotel which was convenient for getting to the airport. Check in was fast and pleasant....

The staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was ok if you want somewhere to sleep and be close to Darling Harbour. It is one of the better ibis hotels I have stayed in. Also it is very close to everything.

Paid a top rate for rooms over the new year for a central location and am already an Accor member. The rooms are so small you cannot walk forwards only sideways down the side of the bed at one point due to the angle of the room there was only 1ft between the bed and wall, where the roller for...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
