This is a good budget accommodation option. It's located right in the center of the city, walking distance to Circular Quay and all the Sydney attractions. Nothing fancy, but has everything you need for a short stay.

Great location because its next to Wynyard Station and two blocks from Circular Quay. Rooms are budget level but fine. Nice touch is the kitchen and lounge central to all the rooms. Staff were helpful. Not a romantic place to stay but great for a comfortable bed while you spend most of your time enjoying Sydney.

On arrival was greeted by a steep set of stairs to 1st floor reception. Was then told our room was on the 4th floor. I asked where the lift was and was laughed at and told that there is a picture of the stairs on the website...ok so then could someone help carry the 100+ kgs of luggage? I then...

Small hotel, suitable for short term. But no elevator. But friendly staff, clean rooms and comfy beds. It's not much, but it's worth the price. Central to everything, 2 min walk to Wynyard train station.

The rooms are compact and basic, but very good value for money. It was a little hard to find a power point for the kettle in the room. There is no breakfast available , but there is good kitchen facilities. The stairs into the hotel are steep. Very basic mini bar.

We stayed here for three nights, and it was as expected for the price. We were looking for something affordable and close to the city and this ticked those boxes! Being in the city, there was a lot of noise outside in the mornings so if you like a lie in I wouldn't recommend staying in a room overlooking the...

This is very deceiving. It suggests it's a hotel, its actually a hostel. Share lounge, share kitchen. Luckily we got our own bathroom. However, be warned of you leave your bathroom door open whilst showering and set the smoke alarm off, you will be up for a hefty fine! The room was very dated and the floor had dark brown...

On Saturday 20 August 2016, I stayed at this hotel in room 206. Worst hotel ever. The smell in the room was disgusting, as was the condition of the carpet. After checking under the bed to try to determine where the smell was coming from, I discovered rubbish. I couldn't be moved to another room as the receptionist said they...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
