For what I paid for this accommodation it is certainly not worth it! On first impressions, we pulled up outside after a long tiring journey to very messy courtyard, looked as if it hadn't been swept for a long time. The house itself was behind grills, even the door and on knocking the door, we were met by a bewildered...

We were ( just ) inside the front door when we were told to take our shoes off and close both doors, certainly no please or a smile. We had a car so had to ask several times about the parking arrangements, on one of the web sites it says free parking. We paid $10 and were given the permit....

Such lovely attention to detail. Every little requirement had been supplied. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Easy access to all Sydney's tourist spots. For such a modest tariff this property delivers high quality. Will definitely stay again. We visit relatives in Glebe a couple of times a year. Would highly recommend.

We stayed 1 night at Bellevue B&B. The rooms were clean, and beautifully furnished and decorated. Air conditioned. Bathroom was also clean with soap and body wash provided. There was a cosy communal area with a TV and couches - also beautifully decorated. The owner clearly takes pride in presentation of the B&B and satisfaction of the guests. Breakfast was...

Not too much good to say here unfortunately, as with a little work it could be so much more. Like the reviewer from April 2014 the bed in the front room still creaked terribly keeping us awake most of the night. We mentioned this only to be told they are thinking about replacing it. Not much in the way of...

I had originally booked for 6 nights but walked away when I saw how the hostess treated me. I arrived a 8.45 am after a 14 hour flight extremelly tired. There was no B&B sign outside so the taxi driver was not even sure we had arrived at the correct place. Upon my arrival tbe hostess would not let me...

While it's been a couple of years since my visit, this was a most comfortable and pleasant B&B experience so close to the centre of Sydney. Had the whole property to myself and host very friendly when service required. Beautiful homeliness with all the comforts. Close to transport and wonderful restaurants at Glebe. Loved the décor of the English Rose...

I have stayed at Bellevue Terrace three times over the past year when travelling with my mother. The twin room is comfortable and clean. Location is great but I wouldn't recommend for people with mobility impairments due to been at the bottom of a large hill!

There're some very good points about this B&B and some not so good to poor. The location for getting around is great, within walking distance of the city if you enjoy walking. Glebe is a lively place with a very good range of eating establishments offering cuisines from around the world. Buses are very frequent into the city and beyond....

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
