Totally disagree with the 4 star rating of this hotel. It should be a 2 /3star. The room was dark and bathroom minute. Location was handy but noisy after dark. Room was clean and tidy however. Airport shuttle was half an hour late with no apology. Would not use this hotel again. Internet was limited to 500 mb per day....

I've stayed here twice now, the first time was great! the price was good and i got a large room that i was really happy with however this time we paid twice as much thinking we were getting a bigger room and our room was half the size.

Even though our daughter now lives in Sydney we will always begin or finish our stay with a night at The Bayswater! Just love the location and can't wait for the warmer months to arrive so I can go to the beaches via public transport which passes right by the door.

Room was very tidy and spacious. Great value for money. Staff were helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay close in the city, great location not far from the train station or carpark

When it comes to good things about the Baywater you will find that their staff is pretty friendly and that they are in a pretty ideal location with only a short walk away from the CBD. Unfortunately I chose this place for the Wi-Fi but that was down for a couple days without any alternative's even the computer in the...

The room has small but clean and very comfortable. The hotel was close to the train and around many good eats. The staff was awesome. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready. The staff upgrade our room free of charge because of the long wait.

everything is good except the big noise somewhere downstairs at the first night i stayed there. Small well-furnished room, excellent position near train station and bus station. the price is good for the room given.

Small modern, clean room, excellent location near train station and restaurants. Friendly staff. However did not sleep too well as there was a lot of noise outside the window. Would definitely recommend it as a cheap stay, great value for $104 per night!

I booked the room based on the look of the rooms in the online photos. The photos made the rooms look newer, fresh, colorful and clean. When I got there the facilities in the room were older than the photos. The carpet was old which made it feel unclean. The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel is...

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighbourhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
